Where was the class?
I groaned in utter frustration at the paper in my hands, stacked on top of my books. I've been walking for a while, searching for the class. In between opening several doors, apologizing and wandering in the hallways, I don't pay attention to surroundings, my face is met with a hard chest and I stumble back, books tumbling out of my hands as I land on my ass painfully.
At least I didn't kiss the floor this time.
"Ow," I hissed in pain, cursing my luck.
"You should really watch where you're going, hero."
A familiar deep voice scolded me, and I glanced up to see none other than Alan leuwenhook towering above me, a lopsided grin etched on his face, his green eyes holding a look of slight concern. A white shirt is visible under his black jacket, this one shorter than what he had worn last night, along with blue jeans and black converse. The look is complete with his signature messy hair, a few strands brushing near his eyes, although they didn't seem to bother him. I find myself about to swoon-
No no no. Stop thy thoughts Livia.
Wait a minute, when did he have time to change?
"Oh," I huff, pretending to be dissapointed, "its you."
I ignore his warning and choose to collect my books instead, feeling his gaze on me. After I had successfully collected my books, he offered a hand.
I gave him a questioning look, this time not raising a brow because I definately can't.
"I'm sorry," he answered, "About last night."
"Its okay," I smiled, taking his hand and he pulls me up, "I shouldn't have pressed either."
"Yeah, you shouldn't have," he agreed, nodding.
"You're not supposed to agree," I said in exparation, "that's cue for 'its okay Livia' I was wrong too." I put air quotation marks, narrowing my eyes.
He pushed his hands in the pockets of his black jacket, an amused smirk on his face. "You're funny."
"I know, thanks," I glared at him.
"By the way, hero, by any chance are you lost?"
In your eyes, yes.
Stop thine thoughts before they destroy you, Livia.
"Yeah," I groaned, giving in,"this place is like a maze."
He smirked, taking my schedule out of my hands and observing it.
"You have a class with Mr. Harrison."
"Yeah, but where is that?"
"Would you really get there on time if I told you?"
"Probably......"
"Not. I Thought so," he said, the smirk not disappearing from his face. "C'mon, I'll lead the way."
"Thanks."
I was about to ask him how he got changed that fast when we're interrupted by a shrill voice behind us. We turned around and to my surprise it was Jane, who had given me a lift yesturday. Her hair was up in a messy bun on top of her head, a few strands escaping and falling on to her forehead. She's clad in white shorts and a black shirt, her face visibly red, her hands on her hips. She's definately mad.
"Ally, where were you? You don't Just make people drive you and ditch them you jerk-" Jane ranted, stopping when she sees me, "Hey Livia."
She smiled at me in a split second, as if she wasn't angry in the first place. I have to admit, the change was a bit scary.
