Five years ago.

December 28, 2010.

It was raining heavily when Keith black took the phone call, sitting comfortably in the couch of his home. He had just finished a shooting and had one scheduled for the next morning. His job was tiring, but he loved it nonetheless. His career was just starting to take shape and this movie would serve as a major stepping stone for it.

He smiled to himself when he saw the caller I.D.

It had only been a month, yet he still couldn't believe it. Having lived in an orphanage his entire life, he had often dreamed of finding his biological family. After years of searching, he had almost given up on ever having the opportunity. If it wasn't for the fact that his brother searched for him too, they may have never known that they were brothers despite having worked on the same set.

Ever since they found out, it had been a roller coaster ride of emotions and newfound information. They were only four years apart age wise, and Keith found his little brother quite adorable, although he would never admit that to him.

"Hey Al. What's up?"

"Where are you? Weren't you supposed to be here 30 minutes ago?"
His brother complained into the phone.

"Sorry. I didn't think the shoot would take this long. And Livy said she's coming by for a ride later. Al, when does it start?"

"Forget it. Its always Livy that, Livy this with you."

"She's leaving tomorrow and you know I haven't seen her since the orphanage."

"I know," he sighed.

"So when does it start?"

"In 15 minutes. But forget it, you'd never make it in time."

"I'm sorry Al-"

The phone cut off with a beep, and Keith smiled to himself. It was true that the shoot had run late but he was planning on going to see his brother's performance. He had never once missed any ever since Alan had told him about it. Tonight, he was planning to surprise him since his birthday was also coming up. He had even taken some time off. Tommorow's shoot would be the last and then he'd be able to go home and spend time with grandma and Alan.

The rain which was pouring down heavily had stopped by now. Just as he was putting on the coat, the doorbell rang.

"Am I late? I'm so sorry, there was way too much traffic." Livia greeted as soon as the door had opened.

"Its fine, I can drive faster."

"When does Alan's performance start?" The brown haired girl brushed off a few strands of her hair away from her face.

"About 10 minutes."

"And you're not planning to drive the death machine, are you?" Livia asked seriously, making Keith laugh.

"No. We're taking the car."

"Oh thank god." Livia sighed in relief. "I would die if I had to get on that thing again."

"Don't insult my bike."

"Keep that death trap away from me."

"I don't get how you're so scared of it," he chuckled lightly.

By this time they had made it to the car and they were soon on their way to see Alan.

"This is the first time I'll be seeing your brother in person, huh?" Livia stated, gazing out of the window.
