Entry 12 (Calum)

Today is the day, I can feel it. She's going to wake up today, and I can finally see her smiling face. We can get her out of here and home, where she belongs.

I just left to get breakfast in the hospital cafeteria. I got a cinnamon bun and some sausage. I'm walking back to her room when my phone rings.

I answer it and immediately hear screaming.

"Calum, get here, right now!" Izzy yells and she hangs up. I put a some pep in my step and jog to her room. When I get there, everyone is around Stephanie and there are two doctors in the room.

"Thank God you're here, Cal." Michael says and I put my food down to go to her bed.

"Why? Am I right? Is she waking up? What's going on?"

"We're not entirely sure, but we believe so, yes." A doctor answers. My heart leaps at that answer and I take my spot next to Luke.

"God, I'm so anxious! I want my Stephanie back!" Luna says excitedly.

"Me too!" Luke says.

"Steph, if you can hear me, just know that it's okay to wake you. You're in good hands. We love you." I say to her.

Seconds later, my princess' eyes open to revel that bright brown color I've missed.

"Stephanie!" Avery yells and hugs her.

"Okay, okay, guys, let me sit up." Stephanie says and I smile at the sound of her voice. She sits up and I get a good look at her face. She looks right at me and smiles.

"Hi." She whispers.

"Hi." I tackle her in a hug. "God, I've missed you so much!" I kiss her cheek.

"I've missed you too! I've missed all of you!" She lets go of me and faces everyone else.

"Stephanie, I know you're excited, but please lie back down. We have to unhook you from a few things." The doctor says and she lies down. She has the biggest smile on her face as the nurse unhooks some things.

"Okay, Stephanie, do you think you're okay to go out? Are you still suicidal or have you improved?" The doctor asks her. She looks at me.

"I've improved." She responds.

"Are you sure?"

"Definitely. I'm still scared of my father, but I have enough control now that I can stop myself before doing anything stupid." She smiles.

"Good."

A lady comes into the room loudly, her face smiling and bright.

"I heard my Stephanie was awake!" She yells. "Oh, God, I'm so happy for you!"

"Trina?" Steph asks.

"It's wonderful to finally meet you, properly." This Trina lady says.

"You too. Thank you, so so so much for taking care of me. I wouldn't be feeling this well without you."

"It was an honor." Trina says.

"Guys, this was my nurse, Trina. Trina, my friends, and Calum, my boyfriend. That's Avery, Luke, Luna, Izzy, Michael and Ashton."

"Oh, Calum was always so desperate to see you awake. Imagine how he's feeling now."

"I'm very excited!" I say.

"Good, good."

"Well, Stephanie, is you feel that you're alright, then you're free to go." The doctor says.

"Do I have clothes to change into?" She asks.

"Yeah, here." Luna says and hands her the clothes.

"We'll take you to change." The girls says and they go away.

As, they're changing, I'm doing the paper work.

"What are you going to get her for Christmas?" Ashton asks.

"I have no clue. For any of you, actually." I truthfully say.

"Wow, thanks, mate." Luke says.

"In being honest! I'm bad at presents."

"I'm getting Luna concert tickets." Michael announces.

"Suck up." Ashton says.

"No, I'm just a good boyfriend."

"Nope."

"Maybe you would know what it's like if you had the balls to ask Izzy out."

"Wait, you like Izzy?" I say, turning to Ashton.

"Yeah. You wouldn't know. You were too busy praying Steph wakes up."

"Sorry." I mumble.

"Don't be, she's you're girlfriend. You should be praying she's fine." Luke says.

"Just like you pray Avery's fine." Ashton says.

"You like Avery?! God, I'm behind." I say and my mind flashes back to the time Stephanie and I were at the restaurant. She said Avery likes him.

"Man, you need to catch up." Michael says.

"It was only two weeks. How much could I have missed? It's not like our lives are all that interesting." I say.

"Well, Luna's pregnant." Michael says.

"What?!" I exclaim.

"No, I'm just kidding." Michael laughs and I roll my eyes.

"I couldn't have possibly missed that much."

"You didn't. That's about it, really." Ashton says.

The girls come back into the room and I finish the paper work.

"Hey, Steph, I need you to sign here." I hand her the paper and she signs. I give that paper to a doctor and he smiles.

Everyone else leaves the room and it's just me and her.

"Hi, Steph." I say to her.

"Hey. Two weeks was a long time."

"I agree." I say. "I love you."

"I love you, too." She says and suddenly, I'm kissing her.

She quickly pulls away and I'm left with a good feeling on my lips. She looks at me, with her arms still around my waist.

"We should go home." She smiles and takes my hand. She pulls me out if the room and we're walking to the car.

Let's get Stephanie home.
