9 (Colby's Pov)

"You can take a shower now, if you want to." Jade announced as she walked out of her bathroom, hair done up and wrapped in a towel. Her skin was glowing in the dim light that the curtains cast throughout the room. 

" I will, I'll be out in a minute." 

"Kay." she responded as she made her way towards the closet.

 I got up and went into her bathroom, got undressed and got a towel. I got in, and turning on the water, my mind traced back to Jade. That girl drove me insane, in more than one way. She was so confusing, which gave me more of a reason for not being in a relationship. Girls confuse me too much. I wish she would just be straight up with me. Our relationship obviously isn't going to last. So what happens after this? What happens after we decide to break this off? I mean, I really don't want it to end but we can't keep doing this forever. Eventually she's going to find a guy that she loves and she's going to want to to want to stop this. And maybe, just maybe, I'll find someone that I can spend the rest of my life with as well. I don't think I'll ever be satisfied with the kind of relationship I have with Jade. I sighed, feeling the hot water cascading against my back, I hate how little Jade and I truly know each other. It makes me crazy, maybe I can change that today, depending on how she feels about it. I want to know her better. I want to know what she's really like, who she really is. I turned off the water and got out, grabbing the towel I had laid out. I dried my hair out a bit before wrapping the towel around my waist and left the bathroom going into Jade's bedroom again.

She was laying on the bed, ripped band t-shirt and short shorts, showing off her bare legs. She looked up, meeting my eyes as I walked in. Getting up and marching towards me, she wrapped her arms around my neck, playing with the hair at the base of my neck," Morning." "Morning." I replied, gazing into her gorgeous green eyes," How did you sleep?" "Good." she giggled," I need to blow dry my hair, so get dressed." She turned around and walked to the bathroom door, my eyes following her every move. Apparently she noticed from the way she shook her hips a bit before entering the bathroom. I shook my head and grabbed my bag off the chair in the corner of the room, taking out my spare clothes; a simple black shirt with black ripped jeans. 

I changed quickly then followed Jade into the bathroom, she was still fixing her hair. I wrapped my arms around her waist," I have an idea." "What is it?" she asked, looking at me in the mirror. " I was wondering if you wanted to go out today, like to the mall or something?" She stopped what she was doing, setting her hairbrush down on the counter," Like a date? Colby you agreed on not-" "Jade, stop." She closed her mouth and looked down," Sorry." "No, not like a date. I know what we agreed on. I meant that I just want us to get to know each other a little more." Jade bit her lip, I knew she was just thinking but God it was so hot. Today's going to be extremely difficult, especially with her in those shorts. "I'd like that." she answered softly. I didn't show it, but those words made my heart swell. I suddenly got this feeling that I couldn't describe. A smile was trying to force itself on my face, so I leaned down and planted a soft kiss on Jade's neck. She hummed in response, so I kept on kissing her. She closed her eyes, a sigh erupted from her throat," Colby, you're gonna give me a hickey." "Good." I said, not stopping, I spun her around, taking her into my arms and setting her on the counter top. "Colby-" I cut her off by crashing my lips against hers. She gasped into my mouth, her bod stiffening at first but then relaxing. I slid my tongue into her mouth, tightening my grip on her waist. She gripped my hair in her hands tightly, pulling my mouth from hers, breathing heavily," Colby, we can't." "I know, I know. If we do, we're never gonna leave."
