Colby had contacted Brennen and told him that he wasn't coming over, which he said he understood. He also said that he hadn't mentioned Colby and I's relationship to Alexa. " Oh thank God!" I yelled, falling back onto Colby's bed. Colby chuckled," Would it really be that bad if she knew already?" " Yes! You don't understand our friendship. She would kill me! Where's my phone?" I asked, getting up frantically," I need to text her!" Colby pointed to my purse, which I had conveniently thrown in the corner of the room. " It's might be in there." He said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes, making a face at him, and rummaged through it until I located my phone. I quickly texted Alexa, asking her when a good time to hang out was. She replied immediately, saying she was free tomorrow night. We planned to meet at her apartment. I told her that I needed to tel her something then, and she said she needed to tell me something as well. I assumed she was talking about Brennen. I then put my phone back, and laid next to Colby again. " I'm hanging out with Alexa tomorrow night." He leaned over me, a smile lighting up his face," Good! At least this time I know you're not lying to me! Or are you?" I blushed," Sorry about that. I felt guilty. And no, I'm not lying this time." Colby laughed," I'm just giving you a hard time, Jade. It's alright." He pressed his lips to mine reassuringly. Wrapping my arms around his neck, I smiled into the kiss. A feeling that I hadn't felt in forever spread through me. Maybe I did love Colby. . . no that's not possible. I didn't even know him well enough, I reminded myself, you can't love someone you don't know.

 Then why was I feeling this way? I had been happier since we started this relationship and I've been more transparent, which is something I've always struggled with. Colby nuzzled his face in the crook of my neck before placing a small kiss there. " I love you." he whispered, placing a quick kiss to my lips then began working on my neck again. Those three words were starting to grow on me, I was beginning to believe him. As much as I wanted to fully trust his words, a little part of me was still questioning. I felt the deep bruise he was making on my skin as I bit my lip, trying not to let a moan escape my throat. He caught my skin between his teeth, which caused me to gasp. "Colby." I moaned, my hands finding his back and pressing him down on me, arching my back in an attempt to get him closer. Anticipation pooled between my legs, making me squirm. I felt him smirk against my skin, then closed his teeth down on my neck again, a yelp arose from my mouth this time. I blushed, embarrassed by my actions. My face got even more hot when I realized Colby had stopped and was gazing down at me. His eyes were darkened, and they held such an intensity that I began to squirm again. " Don't be embarrassed babe, I wanna hear you." He captured my lips with his, swirling his tongue against mine. I whimpered into his mouth as he started grinding his lower half to meet mine. 

His breath was coming out in pants as he ripped his mouth away from mine, applying more pressure and speed with his hips. " Goddamnit, Jade." Colby sat up, stripping himself of his shirt and quickly kicking off his pants. My eyes traced over him, he had been working out a lot recently and it was noticeable. I loved the way his muscles flexed as he slipped his shirt off.  He winked at me when I caught his eye, reminding me that I had been watching  him for far too long. I slipped my own clothes off, dropping them next to Colby's. He then pushed me back onto the bed, climbing on top of me, and reattached out lips forcefully, his hands roaming all over my body. We explored each others mouths like we had never tasted one another before. My breathe hitched in my throat when his hand ghosted my heat, and we both jumped as my phone started ringing. " Oh fucking hell!" Colby yelled. I groaned and grabbed my phone. It was Alexa. "Oh my God. This bitch!" I said through a laugh and answered the phone. "What??" I asked exasperated. "Jade! What the hell??"  she responded, her voice thick with anger," Why didn't you tell me!?" My heart skipped a beat," Tell you about what?" My voice was quiet. I knew she could sense I was playing dumb, even through the phone." About you having a boyfriend! Bitch, that's something I need to know! Why the fuck would you keep that from me?"
