We stayed like that for a couple of minutes, just soaking in the silence. The only noise was the sound of our breathing. Colby placed a light kiss on my neck before lifting his head. He kept his eyes locked on mine as he leaned back, keeping a solid grip on my waist. I pouted, wrapping my arms around his neck and resting my head on his shoulder. He chuckled, kissing my head softly. He then began to trace small circles on my back. I slowly sat up, making him grit his teeth as I adjusted myself on his lap. I leaned over, grabbing my phone again. " God, Jade. Stop moving so much." He scoffed. "Sorry." I said, checking the time. "Do you have anything to eat, it's getting late?" "No I don't," he answered." Maybe we can go grab something." I stood up," No, I'll go. You're sick." He sighed," Jade..." I sighed, mocking him," Colby... you're staying here okay?" "Okay." "What do you want?" " Tender Greens?" he asked. " You got it." I said as I made my way towards the door. "Wait!" I turned to see Colby coming towards me," What?" He grabbed my hand and pulled me against him, lowering his mouth to mine. As his lips met mine, I let out a small moan, gripping his hair. He jerked his head away suddenly, biting his lip, his eyes dark with lust," Bye." he said, his voice strained. " Bye." I said before opening the door and leaving. I got in my car and quickly drove to Tender Greens. I got out of my car and went in, I quickly got in. Colby and I had been here multiple times, so I already knew his order. As the line got shorter Colby texted me, telling me what kind of drink he wanted. Before I knew it I was next, I ordered my food and had almost finished Colby's order when the cashier interrupted me," Um, this is sort of a weird question, but you don't happen to have a boyfriend do you?" I closed my mouth, taking a better look at him, he had dirty blonde hair and greens eyes," Uh, no." I answered,"  Why?" " Well," he said, running a hand through his hair," I'm not really supposed to do this on the job, but could I maybe get your number?" I laughed," Yeah, sure." He slipped my his phone and I gave it back after I entered my number in. " Thanks, I'll text you."  "Okay!" He smiled," Now, what drink did you want for your last meal?" I glanced down at my phone, reading Colby's text. "A coke." I answered, giving him a small smile. "Okay, you're goo to go. I'll call you name when you're orders ready!" he replied. "Thank you!" I said, walking over to the waiting area. I texted Colby that I was almost on my way back as I heard the guy call my number. I ran up to the counter and reached for my food. "Wait up a minute!" he called before I could go," I didn't catch your name." "It's Jade, what's yours?" "Jackson." "Well, I'll see you around, Jackson." "See ya!" he said, shooting me a wink. I felt my face flush as I turned and ran out to my car, getting in, and driving back to Colby's apartment. "I'm back!" I said, flinging open the door. Colby jumped up from the couch, eyes wide. "What the hell?!" he yelled. I stopped in my tracks," What?" "God, Jade, I was asleep! You scared the living hell out of me!" I burst our laughing," I'm so sorry!" I set the food on the counter and walked over to him, wrapping my arms around his neck, still laughing. He shook the shock from his face, a grin taking its place. I was still laughing, resting my head against his chest. "I'm sorry!" I repeated. He rubbed his hand up and down my back," It's fine, I'm good. Now, where's the food?" I chuckled and pointed at the counter. He ran and grabbed it, bringing it back to the couch, and sat down," Come on, I'm starving!" At that exact moment, my phone dinged.
