I nodded solemnly," So we should probably get going." Colby sighed," Yeah we should.." he trailed off, a distant look in his eyes. "What's wrong?" he shook his head,clearing his thoughts." Nothing, I'm fine. Let's go." He took my hand in his and pulled me off the counter top. Colby made some finishing touches to his hair before we made our way out to his car. He drove us to the mall, the only conversation was boring small talk between on the way there. We arrived and got out of the car, entering the mall. As we walked through the doors Colby slipped his hand in mine, I started to pull away but then gave in. I glanced over at him and saw his face covered in an emotion that I couldn't recognize. He's been acting a little out of character the last few days,  I wonder what's going on. I doubt he'd tell me though, he's never really talked about his emotions that much and I don't think he'd start now. We weaved through the groups of people, heading to somewhere I didn't even know where, Colby was leading the way. "Where are you wanting to go?" I asked. "I don't know." he replied. " Kinda just want to wonder around." I didn't respond, just kept walking along with him. His grip on my hand tightened as we walked past a group of sketchy looking people, he eyed them warily as we kept going. " I was thinking of going to Hot Topic, if you want to." He suggested, a smirk on his face. I laughed and rolled my eyes, of course he did. " Really? Hm. I don't know, there's really nothing good there." I teased. As much as we tried to keep our personal lives to ourselves, it was difficult when we hung out in a group sometimes. So yes, I knew about his YouTube channel and his merch, which is the main reason he wanted to go. "Wha-?" he asked, exasperated. "Wow. You're mean." I giggled, " Come on you dork." I pulled him down the huge "hallway" in the direction of the store. We came upon it, looking up at the black block letters above the entrance, and went inside. Colby let go of my hand and ran up to the display wall, cocking his head up, scanning the racks. " I found it, I found it!" He yelled, jumping up and down like a little kid, drawing some disapproving looks from strangers. I laughed at him, looking up at his and Sam's merch. He stopped jumping and grabbed my hand again, spinning me around, then halting me to a stop. He smiled widely before leaning down and kissing me softly. I laughed silently again. " You're adorable." His smile grew even wider at my words." Says you." "I-" he cut off my response by pressing his lips against mine again, more passionately that last time, but still gentle. I pulled away slowly, but he pulled me back, deepening the kiss, his hands held a firm grip on my waist. I melted into the kiss for a moment, savoring the feeling of Colby's lips on mine, before fully pulling away. "Colby, we're in public." He shrugged, licking his lips." Don't care. It's not like they do either, they're just wishing that they're the one kissing you." I rolled my eyes," Whatever Brock." I stepped away from him." Are you gonna buy anything here? Or can we wonder around some more?" "We can leave." He answered, biting his lip.We headed out of the store and began to walk again. "Do you wanna go anywhere else or just go grab something to eat?" he asked. "We could maybe hit a couple more stores."
