Colby and I walked around the mall for a little while longer, visiting some other stores but not buying anything. Colby seemed to be acting more and more weird with every step we took. "Are you okay?" I asked, getting worried. He cleared his throat before answering." Yeah, why?" " I don't know, are you feeling okay?" He bit his lip," I'm fine, Jade." "Okay." We walked around a bit longer until Colby let go of my hand. " Do you want to go back to your apartment?" He nodded," I feel like shit. I'm sorry, I really wanted to hang out with you today." "It's okay, I didn't have anywhere else I wanted to go." He didn't respond and stayed silent as we walked out of the mall and back to his car. We got in and silently drove back to his apartment. I grabbed the sides of his face, crashing my lips against his. His hands found their way under my shirt, pressing against my bare skin. I gasped into his mouth at the coolness of his rings touching me, giving him the opportunity to slip his tongue in my mouth. He moaned as I shifted my weight in his lap, brushing against him. he pulled away and rested his head on my shoulder," We can't, i don;t have the energy. I'm sor-" I leaned forward and kissed him softly," It's okay, Colby. Don;t feel like we have to do something every time we're around each other." He was quiet for a second before asking," Do you wanna watch something?' "Sure, but what?" "Whatever you want, Jade." " How about some of your YouTube videos?" I suggested. He laughed," Are you serious?" I nodded, grinning," Yeah, I haven't seen many of them." "You've watched some of them, though?" "Yeah..." "Why?" he chuckled, a strange look on his face. " I don't know, I just wanted to see what you're like on camera." He laughed again, his cheeks turning red," Okay." he answered, turning on the TV. "Which video?""Hm, maybe one of your scary ones." "Kay." he clicked on one titled "Biltmore Hotel" and laid his head on the back of the couch, draping his arm around my shoulders. We watched it for about twenty minutes before I started getting tired, Colby noticed and pulled me closer to him so that my head was resting on his chest. He kissed my head and I wrapped my arm around his waist. We finished that video and decided to watch some of Sam and his older videos. He made a face before pressing the play button," Oh my God." I said, sitting up as it started. "What?" "You were so fucking cute!" He chuckled," And I'm not now?" I smacked his chest lightly," That's not what I meant, you know you are, I just meant you were so tiny!" He had a small smile on his face," Whatever." "I'm serious, like good Lord, you look so innocent!" "What's that supposed to mean?" " It means exactly what you think it means. You look like you were a good kid." "Is that a bad thing?" "No," I replied softly,"It's just different." "Different how?" " I mean, you're not like that now. Not from what I can see." He chewed his lip," Well, yeah, obviously I'm a little different, but I'm still the same, mostly. I'm still the same person." I nodded, and rested my head on his chest again. He reached up and started running his fingers through my hair. I hummed in response making him chuckle, the feeling vibrating underneath me.
