    Dear adults,
    When will you realize that we've been fighting? Open your eyes instead of your mouth. Listen to our pleads instead of speaking over us. You say if we put our heads together we can be stronger. Put our voices together and we will be louder. But will we ever be louder than your ignorance? If you chose not to listen, you just lost the future of Earth.
    When will you stop asking us when we'll step up? Because we have stepped up. We've been fighting battles that we shouldn't have to. We are smarter than all of you combined. We have solutions that have not be thought of. But you don't listen because we are young and have been classified as stupid. Because we have been put into a soundproof box, but you still ask us why our voices aren't heard.
    When will you put away your prides and let yourselves lose?
    When will you put away your phones and stop posting about the global tragedy instead of actually doing something?
    When will you stop giving us false hope? Telling us that we can be heard when we both know that you won't?
    Put away your racism and sexism, your lies and fake promises. Put away your hearts that have no visible cracks, but are nonetheless broken.
    "Open your ears instead of your mouth.". You say that all the time, but you never seem to take your own advice.
    Listen to the generation you have shut away and do what we have.
    We, as children and teenagers, have separated. Made cliques and groups. Excluded some people because we don't know any better. But recently we've put those stupid titles of jocks and nerds away. Because we're on this planet and we've realized that we should have a say in this. That our voices should be heard because this is our only Earth. Our only home. And we are not about to abandon it because you, our leaders, are too selfish and greedy to do anything about this.
    If I were you, I'd spent all the money in the world, quite literally, to save this planet. But you're selfish and wouldn't.         
    Who cares about money when the worlds's in danger? Because if you don't fix the world and what you've done, then there will be no one to even use that money later.
    I am sick and tired or wasting my breath when I won't be heard. I'm tired of throwing away my voice just so that it isn't heard.
    I'm tired of living in fear that one day I'll wake up and see that half of the animals in the world are extinct. That the Amazon and Australia have both burned down. That the sea has risen and some places have been erased.
    I'm tired of being scared.
    So man up and put away your differences. Stop planing World War Three and start planing how you're gonna save this world.
    Because if you don't then so help me there will be nowhere left to go. 
    Stop throwing trash in the ocean after making a speech about why we should stop littering.
    Stop being a hypocrite, man up, and do something!
