My whole life I struggled with who I was. Y'know, being a mixed child I wasn't sure. Some people told me I was black or brown, other said I was white.
But one day I finally realized it doesn't matter, because either way I'm human.
And what I don't understand is why the colour of this blanket we wear every day matters.
So to all my brothers and sister, to all my siblings who have faced discrimination or oppression. Racism or those who have passed on.
I may not feel your pain directly, but I pains me. I may not feel your pain, but I'll tell your story.
And let me tell you, I will fight. I will fight for what is right. And if I lose, at least I lost trying to make a difference.
Even if I takes a million failures, we will win.
And to everyone who's no longer with us: Rest In Peace, you will be missed.
