Depression is a funny word.
But not a funny-funny word, a sad-funny word.

It can be broken down into "de", "press" and "ion".

De can mean many things.
Down, completely, off.

Press is the verb to press something.
But, it can also be the verb of pressuring or being pressured.

An ion is a molecule that has a net electrical charge.
But, the word ion comes from the Greek word "go" or the verb "to go".

So what I get out of depression is:
Completely pressured to go.
Completely pressured to leave.
Completely pressured to die.

Of course, it's not literal. It's just a coincidence that it can be broken down like this.

But, like I said.

Depression is a sad-funny word.
