' Come in.'

Nkuli replied to the knock on her door thinking it was one of her employees. since her assistant was not available to inform her of their presence. She looked up to be met with Joe walking in.

' What are you doing here?'

' Is that they way to greet your man?'

' Joseph I'm not in the mood for your games. What do you want here?'

' Are those my flowers?'

He asked when he noticed the red roses he had delivered for her in the dustbin. Since the day he returned he had been sending her roses everyday. Like the first bouquet she always found them on her table without the knowledge of who let him in. It had become uncomfortable for her that she told Kenneth about it and he promised to deal with it but he had not done anything yet.

' I told you to stop sending them.'

' I told you that I willl not stop till you realise you're making a mistake giving Ken a chance. Remember how unhappy you were with him? You used to come crying to me because he was no longer taking care of you or your needs-'

' Joe that was then and we were going through stuff but we're working on our relationship like I said. I'm sorry I got you involved and gave you false hope-'

He pushed a chair out of his way and slowly but intimidatingly walked over to where she now stood. She had gotten out of her chair to ask him to leave and stood near the door.

' You used me. You abused my love and concern for you till I was no longer good enough the you threw me away like a used tampon.'

' It did not happen like that. You left!'

Kenneth drove towards his wife workplace to pick her up for lunch while listening to the latest hip hop music which she had introduced him to. Nkuli was a big fan of hip-hop mainly female and old school hip-hop.

' Hey Grace is she ready?'

He asked her assistant who she bumped into getting off the elevator while he used the stairs. Grace shrug her shoulders and explained that she had any early lunch and had left her in the studio before she left.

' Let me check for you sir if she's still in the studio.'

He patiently waited as she confirmed.

' They say she came back to her office. I can check if she's in.'

' No it's fine thank you. If she's out I'll just wait in her. She's expecting me after all.'

He saw red when he opened the door to her office and found Joseph standing over his wife and pinning her into the wall. Without he word he grabbed and punched him right in his jaw and Nkuli ran out to get security for help. When the security came they were still at it and had to restrain both men.

' This is how you do me Nkuli?!! After everything I did for you!'

He shouted after she informed the security to take him out. Kenneth screamed for him to stay away from his wife. Kenneth rushed over to his visibly shaken wife as soon as they security let go of him.

' Did he hurt you babe?'

' No I'm fine.'
