*BEFORE READING, THIS CHAPTER INCLUDES SEXUAL THEMES AND MATURE CONTENT (more graphic at the end but honestly for me, I've read a LOT worse) SO PLEASE SKIP IF YOURE NOT COMFORTABLE READING IT. THE CHAPTER LITERALLY CONTAINS THEIR DATE AND THEN THE THEMES. YOURE SAFE UP UNTIL THEY RETURN TO SPOCKS ACCOMMODATION. (I'll add a warning there but it's pretty hard to miss) for those who don't mind reading it, enjoy :) I had a good time writing this chapter and knowing ive got about 10 left is actually devastating because I've loved it so much! Enjoy! This is a long chapter too :)*

I pulled my hair up and lined my lips with a dark rose colour lipstick. I knew he wasn't really going to dress up, something told me he wasn't going to... but that didn't mean that he didn't care. I felt myself tingle at the memory of the mindmeld with Spock yesterday. I bit my lip as K'iara saw me stood in the bathroom in a long-sleeved white dress with a lowcut front, stopping just below my mid-thigh. I wasn't much of a dress-wearer at the best of times and this was one of the only ones I had.

"Girl where're you going then, huh?" She beamed. "Dressed all like that."

"i'm seeing commander Spock." I say, trying to sound nonchalant about it.

"WHAT!?" She roared. "WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN DESTI!?"

I shrug. "Its just dinner, K, nothing fancy, we're talking about my options once I leave the academy... since I am literally the best Navigation student the academy has- Not my words before you start, they're Pikes, actually." It was true, I had received an email telling me so and that I should seriously consider applying to the top starships in the fleet now, and that they'd be mad to not take me.

"I'LL DECIDE THAT THANK YOU! I SAID YOU HAD A THING FOR HIM WHAT HAPPENED?" She screamed.

I threw a hand over her mouth, not wanting her to alert those who lived next door. I leant in and whispered. "Swear down now that you'll say nothing?" Through my hand she mumbled it... and I knew I could take her word for it. She was be best friend after all. "We might've kissed... just after a week ago- I know I should've said but I just had so much to do with exams and studying and you were so focused on your studies and it was so close to Jim..."

"He's old news compared to this!" She grinned. "Have you two... you know?"

I roll my eyes. "Trust you." I sigh. "And no, we haven't. And we wont, not yet."

"uh hu." She smirked. "For now."

I roll my eyes and shook my head. "Leave it, K. I don't think we'll be going there... not tonight anyway its basically the first date."

"You humans and your date things." she laughed. "Just have fun, Desti you deserve it... you grade A navigator you."

I smile at her brightly. "How do I look? And not a sex answer, please."

"You look amazing, Desti. Go have a great night but don't do anything I wouldn't." She winked.

She'd literally do everything and anything, so that advice sucked so much. I pick up my bag and head out of our house, kind of regretting wearing heels out tonight. After living in flat boots for months, wearing heels was rather awkward. I arrived at the restaurant Spock had told me about on the other side of town at exactly 6.30pm. I walked inside and saw that he had just arrived, and sat down at a table. A waiter, another Vulcan, lead me over.

He hadn't dressed up. I was right about that. He was wearing his Starfleet blue shirt and black trousers, but he still looked good. He always did to me now though. He stood when he saw me and nodded. "Cadet Fawn."

"Commander Spock." I smile back.

He nodded to the chair and I sat down, feeling his eyes watching me but when I looked up, they were their emotionless selves once again. "I hear you received an A in every class, Cadet. Congratulations."

"Well i'd never have got there without the help of my teachers. Accept one. That commanders a real piece of work." I smirk as I picked up the menu, hiding my smirk from him.

"I have a student like that." He replied. "She can be pain."

I dropped the menu and looked at him. "Pain?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.

"You have, as you humans say 'have your moments', Destiny."

I laugh and shake my head, looking around at the other couples in the restaurant. There were so many different groups in here but we were the only Vulcan-Human pair. It didn't seem to bother him though, and he told me so many, many times. Even when our food came he reassured me that he was content in the company he had.

Soon, it was time to pay for the food, and Spock offered to pay. I tried to argue that we should split it, but he was having none of it. "Thank you." I say as we walked back to the campus together.

"It was not a problem." he said, hands in his pockets.
