Chapter Thirteen: Together Again

After I told her we both cried, she held me as sobs racked my body and cried into each others shoulders, holding tightly onto each other as if, if we let go we'd be seperated again.

After our sobs tuned into sniffles we just sat there in each others arms, the sky was dark already and the stars where shining with the full moon on display.

"Clarke?" Lexa whispers to me, I hum from where I am infront of her as she spoons me, "Thank you for bringing me here" she thanks, I turn around in her arms and smile.

"The adventure isnt over just yet Lex" I smirk, "Get some sleep, I have plans for tomorrow" I tell her, she smiles and kisses me again as her arms tighten around me, she rests her head above mine as I hide mine in her neck, closing my eyes and quickly falling asleep in her arms.

I wake up just as the sun rises, somehow Lexa and I had swapped positions in the night, I look down at her with a smile, she's finally my girlfriend.

I push a loose strand of her brunette hair back behind her ear and trance her jaw with my fingers, kissing her nose to wake her up, she humms with a smile on her face.

"Lex, come on, you gotta see this" I whisper to her, she looks groggily up to me before looking at the rising sun, her mouth parts as the air is knocked out if her just like I was when I first watched the sunrise here, she sits up and stares.

The sun is rising over mountains and rivers in the distance, the sky changing colours as the stars started to disappear and the moon fade, light streams through the dense forest bellow the hill we're on making the tops of the trees shine, it looked like something out if a fairy tail but I couldn't take my eyes off if Lexa.

The sunlight was reflecting in her green forest eyes, the glow of it shining on her face and the slow wind blowing her hair back as she stares, lips parted, at the rising sun.

As I lay there and look at Lexa I make a promise to myself, I promised to do better and to never hurt Lexa, I had never had an actual partner before so this was new to me but I wanted to do anything to make Lexa happy.

After a while I sit up too, "Come on, get dressed, we have somewhere to be" I tell her as I throw her bag at her, she looks sceptical at me as I jump off the car and start undressing, "No one will see, no one knows about this place besides me so don't worry" I tell her before turning my back to give her privacy as I slip into a black two piece bikini.

"Ok, you can turn now" Lexa tells me, I do and my eyes widen, Lexa's standing there in a fiery red two piece bikini, her hair flowing over her shoulders and a smirk on her lips.

"Like what you see?" She teases as she slaughters over to me, purposely swaying her hips, I roll my eyes and give her my signature Clarke Praimheda-Griffin smirk.

"You bet" she chuckles at me, "Let's go my beautiful girlfriend, the river awaits" I tell her as I slip into black wedge sandals, Lexa slips into red ones, I grab my backpack for a picnic and take her hand as I begin to track to the river.

Ten minutes later we're at the river, there's a swinging rope tied onto a branch of a tree to swing into the clear water of the river, the sun beams down through the forest leaves and glistens on the water.

"How the hell did you find this place?" Lexa asks as she takes off her sandals, I do the same and drop my bag against a tree.

"Well I found it the last year of high school three years ago. I was at a party ans Costia had gotten me drunk one night and had sex with me, she knew my rule against having any sort of more then friends relationship with my friends so she knew she wouldn't get a shot unless I was drunk if my head, when I told her she was fucked up and I'd never date her she called the cops and reported me for rape, we went to court and I was pled not guilty and she got a year of parole and had to pay my lawyer because she made the false accusation against me. After court was over I left, I traveled to Dubai, India even Rome before I came back here after six months away, no one knew I was back and I was up here hiking, I found the look out and parked my car before I hiked some more and found the river. I had stayed here for a week before I finally returned to civilization"

Lexa is now staring at me wide eyed, "Costia, as in Costa Grey?" She asks me.

"Yep, the bitch who's been flirting with you ever since I got back from Australia" I tell her, Lexa pieces it together and nods.

"That shits crazy" she mumbles, I nod, "Wouldn't have everyone been worried if to just disappeared?"

I shake my head as I walk into the water, Lexa follows me in, "No, I started my disappearing act when I was eleven. When I met everyone here and I decided to disappear, I would leave them clues, only the people who deserved it knew where I was. I would talk to my brother and sister, Aiden and Luna, every day, they where the only ones I would call when I was away" I explained, Lexa takes it in and nods.

"So, will you be doing any disappearing tricks in me?" She asks, I float over to her and wrap my arms around her waist.

"Yea, I mean I've been doing it for years. But your I'll get clues of where I am, so that you know I'm safe" I tell her, she nods and kisses me before dunking me under the water laughing.

We mess around in the river for hours, jumping off rocks, swinging off the rope, having our picnic and just making out in the water, it was beautiful and peaceful there but eventually we had to leave as lunch passed so that we would make it back before dark, I had promised Anya I would take care of her sister and I didn't want to drive through dense forest with Lexa l even if I had done it a thousand times, I wouldn't risk it, I wouldn't risk her.
