As soon as the words left Raven's mouth my walls build themselves up higher then before, layer after layer followed upon to make it the highest and strongest wall to keep me form getting hurt again.
I owed Raven, I really did, the girl had given me a family and friends and people who love me when I had no one. She'd taken me to hospital multiple times when I've done stupid shit and wouldn't leave until I could, she'd been my sister, supporter and savious since the day we met but now.....Now she's broken my trust.
She knew about Lexa, she knew I missed her with every fibre of my being and yet she never told me it was Lexa, my Lexa, that was sleeping around with her and is now her girlfriend.
"Ohhhh. My. God. As in Lexa Woods my soccer captain?" Octavia squealed, she's the defender for the school soccer team and clearly idealised the woman.
Raven nodes hesitantly, eyes flicking over to me, I put on a fake smile, I owed her, I owed this girl and she deserved to be happy and if that means she's happy with Lexa who she didn't tell me about then so be it.
"I'm happy for ya Rae" I tell her, she smiles questioningly at me so I take it a step further to make her believe my lie, "But if she hurts you I'll make sure she can never play anything again" I threaten like I normally would when one of my friends get a new partner.
Raven nods and looks back to the group when Bellamy asks "When do we meet her?"
"Tonight." Raven turns to me, I know what's coming, "Can we throw a party at yours,?" She asks, I had inherited the Griffin house, it was a holiday house for when we came to Polis but mom and dad handed it over to me so I didn't have to get a doorm or apartment.
I nod, always up for a party, Raven beams.
"Cool, then you'll meet her tonight" Raven informs us ND everyone nods just as the bell goes.
"Great I have history aka my meeting with Pike" I groan, the others give me a pitying looks, they give me good luck and I head to class alone, I didn't have anyone with me in history but I didn't mind, I wanted to be alone right now.
I purposely show up 10 minutes late to get a read on Pike and how much he can take.
Not much apparently.
"Your late!" The teacher, Pike, a man with dark skin and muscled arms and a balled head with sharp eyes trained on me tells as soon as I walk in the door.
I look over at him with a non existent expression before looking away and going to look for a seat, I see the girl from before with dirty blond hair and dark blue eyes, almost dark grey, she smiles at me as I make my way to sit next to her, running a hand over her shoulder as I sit.
"I'm talking to you!" Pike continues as he stands from his chair, I nod with a hum as I place a piece of gum in my mouth, chewing.
"Your Clarke Griffin" he asks bit it didn't sound like much if a question.
"Wow, thank you so much for that information Charles Pike" I spit back in a bored tone as I go on my phone.
Pikes jaw tenses as he walks out from behind his desk, coming to stand infront of me, I don't bother looking up at him as I keep my eyes on my phone and places my hand on the girls thigh.
I hear Pike sigh, "Clarke, it's polite to look at people when they're talking to you" I roll my eyes with a huff, fighting off a smirk.
"It's polite to leave someone alone when they clearly don't want you to talk to them" I reply placing my hand higher on the girls thigh.
"Clarke" he draws out threateningly, I beam up at him with a big and fake toothy smile.
"Hello Pike!" I squealed in a voice sweet enough to make him growl and walk away as the kids around me laugh, I look back to the blushing girl.
