"Leeexxxaaaaa" I whine, I'm in the car with Lexa, I had no idea where we were going since she blindfolded me when we went onto the highway, it's been a week since Raven was discharged from hospital and she's mainly been in the workshop making a leg brace, I hadn't left her side until both Lexa and Anya dragged me out the house hours ago.
"Patience Clarke, we're almost there," she tells me, I can tell we're not on the road anymore from how my truck is trembling on the rocky ground, a few minutes later we finally come to a stop, "We're here!" Lexa tells me, I can hear her undo her seatbelt before getting out of the car.
"Is this the part where you kill me and bury my body?" I tease when she opens my door, I hear her chuckle and reach over to undo my seatbelt, her hand resting on my waist as she answers.
"Well that was my initial plan" she starts in a serious tone, I chuckle and blindly reach out to hit her arm, I got her shoulder, close enough, "But then I figured that everyone would kill me so...." She tells me as she takes my hand, carefully pulling me from the car, she walks me toward something before stopping and wrapping her arms around my waist from behind me, "I decided you deserved a break" she whispers into my ear.
The blindfold is removed and I squint as my eyes at the sudden light, when I'm used to it I look around and a smile spreads across my face.
Lexa had brought me to the hill where I told her I liked her and she asked to be my girlfriend, I smile bigger at the memory, we hadn't come back here in since then, I'm in awe that Lexa knew just what I needed.
"Is it good?" She asks nervously, I smile and nod as I look out at the setting sun.
"It's perfect" I whisper, this is exactly what I needed after the week I had, somehow Lexa always knew what I needed, she was freakishly observant but she also listens, I had been talking about how I wanted to come back here to get away from everything but that I couldn't because I couldn't leave Raven.
"Good" she hums, we stand there as the sun sets before Lexa kisses my neck, it escalated from there and somehow she trapped me between her and the car, I pull away quickly, out of breath.
"Lexa...." I gain her attention, she pulls away and looks at me, "Are you sure?" I ask scared, I really didn't want to screw this up, Lexa was the best thing to have ever happened to me and I couldn't lose her, that's the one thing is never be able to make it back from.
Lexa nods and places her hand on my cheek, smiling sweetly at me, "I'm sure" she starts, staring into my eyes with a peaceful smile on her face as the moon lights up our surroundings, "I love you Clarke Arklynn Praimheda-Griffin" she whispers.
My mouth parts in shock, we would tell say we loved each other when we where kids, but not when we started dating, I was scared if I said it first she would run off or something, but hearing her say it makes me smile huge.
"I love you too Alexandria Polaris Woods," I tell her, her smile lit up the sky and warmed my heart, I don't remember a time I was happier than this.
The next day I couldn't keep the smile off of my face, we had gotten home just after lunch and Anya and Raven were watching a movie, the whole way through Lexa and I couldn't stop smiling, we held each other's hands and kept sharing looks, eventually, Raven and Anya caught on and paused the movie.
"Ok, spill assholes, I've never seen Clarke smile so much in my life and I've known the bastard since I was thirteen," Raven tells us from her spot beside Anya on the couch, Lexa and I where cuddled up on the armchair.
"Yeah Lexa, you look as if you've won the fucking jackpot or some shit" Anya narrows her eyes at her sister and me.
I roll my eyes, Raven and Anya were perfect for each other, they both had a very colourful vocabulary.
"I told Clarke I love her" Lexa gushes suddenly, her smile growing impossibly bigger, Raven chokes on the popcorn in her mouth while Anya pats her back but is staring wide-eyed at Lexa.
"I said it back" I add quietly, sending Raven into another coughing fit on the floor before she can breathe again and stares at me shocked.
"YOU'RE TELLING ME THE BIGGEST PLAYER OF POLIS AND ARKADIA, THE GIRL WHO NEVER GETS FEELINGS, THE GIRL WHO'S TURNED HALF THE POPULATION GAY IS OFFICIALLY IN LOVE!?!" Raven shouts in shock, I roll my eyes, god she loves to exaggerate.
Neither the less I nod my head, "Yep, exactly that" I tell her, biting my lip nervously, I'm shocked when her bottom lip trembles and tears spring in her eyes.
Feeling shocked and guilty I take it on myself to slide off the couch onto the floor beside her where she instantly tackles me in a hug.
"I'm so happy for you Little Bird" Raven sniffles info my neck, I knew she hated the fact I never let my feelings in and she thought I might never be truly happy because of it, so hearing that I've openly told someone I was in love with them is a huge step for me.
"Good on ya Lex, it's about damn time!" I head Anya exclaim behind us, "Honestly, I thought I'd become father Christmas before you finally told each other" we all chuckle at that and the night continues on, this time all four of us with wide grins on our faces.
