BRYNN'S P.O.V.
As I enter the school along with Enoch, surely, we got everyone's attention.
It's as if, they've seen a celebrity visiting the school, but nah. We aren't celebrities.
Enoch and I are just normal students, but the students here make us not.
Since we were young and started attending school, we've always got special treatment. It's not just because Enoch and I got the looks and the wealth. It's also because we got the brains.
"It's tiring you know", bulong sakin ni Enoch
"What?", mataray na sabi ko
"This. You know what I mean ate", sagot ni Enoch saka siya napabuntong-hininga
Yeah, I get it. I get what he meant.
"And there she goes again", natatawa kong sabi
Napakunot-noo lang si Enoch sa sinabi ko hanggang sa—
"Hi Brynn! Hi Enoch, good morning!", bati ng isang babae
What's her name again?
"I baked cookies for you", sambit niya
Iniabot niya ang isang box kay Enoch at iniabot niya ang isa sakin pero kaagad kong itinaas ang kamay ko.
"Nah, I don't eat cookies", sambit ko
Kaagad akong umiwas dun at iniwan si Enoch. He was screaming for my name and was about to go after me, but the girl blocked his way.
"Bye Enoch! See you in the classroom!", natatawang sabi ko
Taas-noo akong naglakad papuntang cafeteria para bumili ng makakain, tutal may ilang minuto pa bago magsimula ang klase namin.
I was about to go and pay for my food when I suddenly saw them.
"Are you coming?", tanong niya
"We'll see", nakangiting sagot nito sa kanya
I just sighed and didn't mind them. I quickly went to the counter and paid for my food.
After that, I immediately went to the room and I saw Enoch in a bad mood. Well maybe, she did something to him again.
"What's with the face?", tanong ko sa kanya
"You clearly left me there", sambit niya habang nakatingin ng masama sakin
"Sorry bro. I just don't like seeing girls confess to you. It's just so....ugh", mataray na sabi ko sa kanya
I'm so sick of seeing different girls confess to him then they'll get rejected afterwards.
"Yeah, whatever you say", masungit na sabi niya
"Mag-girlfriend ka na kasi para tigilan ka na nila", natatawa kong sabi
Tinignan niya lang ako ng masama matapos kong sabihin 'yon.
I know he wouldn't find himself a girlfriend, not until he sees me getting into a relationship.
"Why don't you get a boyfriend first?", taas-kilay niyang sumbat sakin
I just sighed and looked at the man who just entered the room.
"You know, I don't have time for things like that", sagot ko sa kanya
Sakto rin naman ang pagpasok ng teacher namin kaya kaagad akong umayos at naglabas ng notebook para makapag-take down notes during discussion.
