Coral and I rushed to the camp, both supporting the little boy up between us, with his fragile seeming arms around our shoulders. When we got to the camp I didn't say anything. I couldn't, Coral did all the talking for the both of us.

"HELP! He's sick, or dying! We need help! MEDIC! MEDIC!"Coral rushed out without stopping as we ran to the nearest boat.

A medic met us at the top of the ramp heading up to the deck. That's when we told them what happened. That is when we told them everything. The little boy was still as they injected needles into him. Getting blood samples and injecting medicines and that kind of stuff. All I know was that he was lucky to be alive, but I knew not to say hallelujah yet. Scavengers were sent to the village to see if there was anything salvageable, but the bombing left nothing to scavenge. Nothing was left, with one exception. A little boy.

He had black hair, dark skin, and brown eyes. We are not sure about some things like how he is alive, but we must know one thing, and it's important. The attack was supposed to have happened over 50 years ago, but something tells me otherwise. Something like a 10 year old boy.

The group that set out earlier returned around three hours later. They believe that there was not one mammal on the island, just birds, small snakes, and fish. So we are having another feast of fish, with rationed out seagull meat. As we eat, we give reports, and we tell horrible news.

Some of the trees more inland are literally falling over when the wind blows by. When we told them about the boy, there were questions

"Wait, if the kid is a kid , and the attack was over 50 years ago, how is the kid a KID?" a hunter inquired.

" Yeah why?"asked another hunter. Soon the entire group began to start murmuring in agreement. I sighed. I wish that I could show them the kid, but the doctor specifically said that she was giving him surgery for the next hour. So I took matters into my own hands.

"He is in emergency care, but I can show you the remains of the village. It's burnt to ashes. The entire village is actually really creepy so I get it if you are scared to go. It's O.K. to stay behind. " I add smugly. Now they will be embarrassed to stay behind, too interested to not go,or they could just have too big of an ego. Either way, Coral, botanists, hunters, archaeologists, and a handful of random people, not to mention myself, set off to check out the village.
