As of late, somewhere we have a leak. The Keepers have been rounding up more and more people, and a large population of them are in our operation. Honestly it's scary, but If we look scared, we get caught.
Every time someone is caught, I wonder if I knew them, or if they were caught because of someone I told. Odds are they were someone told by me, or told by someone told by me, or told by someone told by someone told by me, or, well, I think you get the picture. I always feel responsible when someone is caught because I found the map. I hope that they don't catch us before we can get away. If we get away, it could justify all of those who we lost. There were other things that changed.
Coral got a job. She is at a plantation growing bamboo. She has been stealing bamboo to trade for things to support us, that way we can spend our true income on food to stock up on. Bamboo is worth a lot, and people use it to strengthen their homes, or to make matts to sleep on, or to sell for double what they bought it for. We keep ⅔ of what she steals and Coral sells the rest for just over half of what it sold for in stores. We meet at noon every day with one group, then we take the supplies to the shipyard to be stored or used on the boats. We only have seven days until illegal day. We will have to wait until next year. They only finished 2 boats and are almost done with the third.You are wondering what iligail day is huh? illegal day is when they let us break the rules for exactly 24 hours, but it's rigged.
I hate the Keepers.They make it seem that by doing illegal things always gets people killed,and they plant bombs that are clearly made by them because of to perfect, too well planned, too contained, and they make illegal day seem to be the cause of all the destruction, but it's the only day that we can dance, listen to music not about the royals, and if a kid is born that day they never will go into the Keepers database. I always loved illegal day, even though I was framed for supposedly skipping a rock across the water and hitting the local Keepers headquarters . They had taken me to the town square. I was going to be wiped twice, but someone else, feeling guilty, stepped up and admitted it was them. I still always do something illegal, like sing,dance,laugh, and maybe this time I'll launch illegal boats?
