"I need to tell him Kari, HOW DO I TELL HIM?!?!?!!!" she said in a hushed voice, but ended in a pleading yell. We looked over at Tyler, he saw us and came over.

"Tell me what?" He asked suspiciously. "Are you breaking up with me? I know it's been strange, but you've been different too. Please, what is going on?" He asked. I opened my mouth to speak, when for the second time, Lilly spoke the unimaginal words. They can make the loudest person shut up. They can make the quietest person gasp. They can make Tyler as pale as Lilly's future wedding dress.

"Tyler, I'm pregnant." she said, with tears in her eyes. Tyler was speechless. He could've been knocked over by a feather. Lilly explained why she couldn't tell him before, and he started freaking out.

"We'll need baby food, and a high chair, and jobs, we need to support him! Her? Will it be a boy or a girl? It doesn't matter, I'll love them just the same. How will they grow up? The sea isn't the place to raise a child! How will we know what to do? Neither of us were raised by our parents! Everyone knows that women get a mother's instinct naturally, but what about men? Will I be a good dad?" he cries, passing. Lilly grabs him by the shoulders and shakes him hard. He stops and stares at her with wild, wide eyes, terror stricken.

"Tyler! Listen to me!" Lilly commands. "We will take it day by day. You will be a great dad!" she exclaims. He calms down. I walk away as they discuss their future, after all, it's not my business. I drink down another cup of white grape juice. Then I head off to find what else was new.
