author's note: i forewarn yall that i did research about inti and the god of the sun beforehand. but i did change some things and add my own details for the sake of the story. i do know that some things may not be true about this god. also, i apologize if it sounds a bit rushed or there are some inconsistencies.
when you arrive at your new school to pursue you degree in [whatever you wish to do in college], you honestly expected things to be as normal and boring as high school. by that, you meant that you would only have a few friends, be known as the smart and quiet girl, or the weird girl for that matter, and just chug along with whatever life threw at you.
furthermore, as much as you wanted to find love in this new chapter of life, you had also given up. you always had bad luck with it. your first boyfriend was in sixth grade, but of course, that was a long time ago and you and him were extremely long. many would hardly call it love. your second boyfriend came along when you were in eighth grade. you and him dated for a few months, and many talked about you, but then he moved on with another. and your third and last relationship involved a boy that you never thought you would have ended up with. he was the captain of the school's soccer team. you were lucky to have caught his eyes because he was popular and you weren't. you and him lasted almost a whole year. when you and him started your senior and final year of high school, you caught him cheating on you with a junior. and that's when you realized that you just weren't supposed to find love.
as sad as you were, you, in a sad kinda way, accepted it. so you didn't pursue it. however that didn't stop you from shopping.
when you started college, you did notice the abundance of rather good looking college boys. they all smiled brightly and laughed like their friends were either the funniest of comedians or stupidest of idiots. either way, it lightened the atmosphere of the hallways.
you always looked at them, whatever it was a habit or you were desperate. you hated to think of yourself as desperate, despised it even. but, it wasn't necessarily wrong.
as you were walking to your first class of the day, glancing at every guy that passed you in the hallway, one in particular caught your eyes. you felt drawn to him immediately, and a weird magnetic pull guided you to him.
this guy was young, obviously. he looked new too. he seemed slightly confused as he turned around in semi circles, as if he was looking for something, or someone.
but it was the way his clear, tan colored skin seemed to glow, especially so when he walked into the beam of the sun that shone through a large window. he radiated heat and warmth, and seemed to sparkle. when his eyes met yours, you were sure that your heart stopped.
your breath hitched in your throat, your cheeks burned with such intensity, you were sure that even though this hot stranger was across the hallway, he could feel it. you glanced around, trying to play it off. anxiously, you rubbed the back of your neck and adjusted the straps of your backpack. you prayed that you had looked away in time, so that he wouldn't notice that you had been practically staring at him.
much to your surprise, however when you had looked back in his direction, he was making his way over to you. he had long legs so he easily crossed the hallway in a matter of seconds.
the man flashed a warm, shy smile at you. "hey." he greeted.
you smiled back, feeling a little relieved. he seemed nice at least.
"i'm jung hoseok." he spoke, holding his hand out.
you glanced at it before hesitantly grasping it, giving it a light shake. you were shocked to find just how soft his skin was. and it was as warm as his smile.
