"THE MILITARY'S WAITING FOR YOU." Aiden yelled back defensively, as a nervous Madi begged for him to calm down.

"GO DROWN IN A TOILET!" Renee yelled back her usual remark. They've been going at one another for at least 30 minutes.

"Why do you hate me so?" Aiden asked just feeling hurt. Madi had silenced due to surprise at his sudden change in tone.

"BECAUSE I LOVED YOU!" She blurted out, unknowing what she had confessed. The classroom had silenced. Aiden was standing there, confused. Madi was doing her own Pogchamp face.

"I-I'm just kidding, jeez you liberals." Renee stuttered attempting to convince them all, maybe to even convince herself. Everyone awkwardly laughed as a response, other than Zoey. Zoey knew it all the tears, the heartbreak, the desperation. She knew how much pain Renee went through. She just didn't know how far it would go.

Night fell, as a creature of the night slipped through the broken window of a house that they seemed to recognized. Aiden laid awake video-chatting Liv. Walking down to his kitchen, Aiden was on the search for peanut butter. That was, until everything in his house shut off. Jumping in surprise, he accidently dropped his phone.

"Shit." He sighed, getting on his knees grabbing at the ground for his phone. Finally, he found it, but not before he heard a loud thud coming from deep in the house. It took him second to realize it came from his room.

"Oh no. Liv, I think I'm gonna die." He joked on the phone. "THUD. THUD. THUD." The noise rang through the hall.

Then faster.

Then faster.

Then faster.

Then knife stabbed through his chest. Twisting, and Twisting. He felt as if his lungs were shrinking, as if every time he breathed in it was another stab in his lungs. He struggled to speak, only for blood to spit out. "Liv. I'm dying. I love you." He struggled to grab for the phone only for the unknown silhouette kicked it away from him, only darkness surrounding them both other than the light illuminating from the phone.

"Hi dying, i'm Liv." A voice and a laugh echoed into the room coming from the phone. "Aiden?" The voice paused. "Aiden?!? Not funny!" A boot crushed down upon the phone over, and over, and over. The phone seemed unrecognisable once the figure finished her rampage.

Drip.

Drip.

Drip.

The figure exited the house, grabbing a liter. She lit and dropped it into the window. The fire danced as it spread through the house. Burning everyone inside. The dogs hopped out, seemingly unharmed. Then ran off. The light of the fire illuminated off the face of the figure.

"Renee, I'm sorry." Zoey whispered out loud, although only the dead were among her. 'I love you.' was the last text Zoey had sent to her.

Renee.
