Author Note: I have redone this so many fucking times, but here it is. Holy fuck, it's actually kinda shitty. So, guns, homophobia, really cringe out of date references, all that jazz.

A scream rang through the studio, echoing off the walls.

"Cut!" Screamed the director, everyone sighed walking off stage. "Alright, off you all go!"

"Good work out there, fox." The man joked, elbowing his friend.

"I'm no fox, and thank you." The girl smiled at her friend, clearing her throat from the scream.

"So, you going steady with that hunk?" Her friend asked, chuckling as they walked into her dressing room. The man faced the door as the woman changed out of the Hollywood attire.

"No, he's far too uptight." The woman sighed, slipping on a pair of pants to match her shirt.

"Have you heard what's going on in Illinois?" The man asked, throwing on a black jacket. "They said that they'll think about giving us fairies rights."

"Really?" The woman swished around in surprising, locking eyes with the man.

"They won't kill us on the spot." The man chuckled, opening the door. "Might swing by once they do it. Get me a man."

The woman laughed along side of her friend as they walked out of the studio, seeing people walking along in their normal lives.

"Is that a new bar?" The woman asked, pointing towards a new shop that had appeared across the block.

"Maybe we won't have to go to Illinois." The man joked, grabbing the woman's elbow and walking her over.

"Hey sweet cheeks! What you doing with a panty waist?" Another man called out from the alley way, getting the woman to clutch closer to her friend.

"Quit it, sweat hog!" Another woman cheered from across the two. The shorter of the two clutched against her friend, starring up at her. "The name's Abby."

"M-Madisyn." The shorter one mumbled, getting her friend to chuckle.

"Dan, nice to meet you Abby." The man bowed his head in respect, before the woman recognized them.

"Hang on, aren't you both those two in the movie?" Abby asked, as Madi took in her face.

"Sure are. We were about to head over to the new bar. Would you like to join us?" Dan offered, as Madi got off him.

"Oh, I'm a friend of Mrs. King." Abby offered, tensing up as she readied herself to run.

"Don't worry, I'm also a friend of Mrs. King." Dan offered a grin as Abby eased. Abby then looked back at Madi, looking up at Dan in slight fear.

"Bi." Maid coughed under her breath as the three looked around making sure nobody could hear the trio speaking.

"Alright, I suggest if we continue speaking about this, we head somewhere privately." Dan murmured, not able to see if the man from the alley was still there.

-

"Welcome to the pansy bar." Dan joked, dragging the two from a block away.

"Pansy? You mean-" Madi started to speak before hearing cheers from the far end of the room.

"Yes, I mean gay." Dan spoke, muttering the word gay.

"I thought this was illegal." Abby whispered in amazement, looking around to see people who all looked different yet were here for the same reason.

"Not like we haven't fought the pigs before." Dan grinned, pulling the two in the crowd of people. Somehow, he navigated his way to a couple of bar stools.

"You've been here before?" Madi asked, looking up at Dan as he turned red from embarrassment.

"A lot, actually." He chuckled embarrassed. "First drinks on me, gals."

"Gals? Ugh, that is so 1940's." The bartender joked, tending to another group, hearing Dan's out of date slang.

"I would rather not drink." Madi smiled uneasily as other tables were filled to the brim with men and women alike.

"Bloody Mary." Abby smirked, as Dan looked at the stranger surprised.

"Alright, give me The Old-Fashioned." Dan returned a grin as the bartender slid the drinks down towards them as he continued pouring drinks and talking to customers.

"Who owns this bar?" Madi asked the tender, as the tender handed a woman next to her a drink.

"Me, actually." The tender shined a bright smile up at her.

"EVERYONE, CODE BLUE!" Shouted a woman as she ran into the bar, causing everyone to panic.

"Code blue?!?" Abby questioned as Dan grabbed his drink and downed it before grabbing their arms.

"Code for cops." He spoke, his voice panicked. "We need to go." Holding onto their arms, he pulled them through a crowd of people as everyone tried to keep quiet while freaking out. "We made it after an incident were the cops lit the door on fire before throwing in a molotov."

The crowd was heading towards a small basement, where a door was located. Dan shoved them towards the door before he backed up to the stairs.

"Dan, what are you doing? No time to be a hero!" Madi whisper-shouted, trying to go after him before Abby grabbed her arm.

"We need to get out, the cops will beat us." Abby whispered into Madi's ear, dragging her to the door. Footsteps pounded above them as the door was thrown open. Everyone rushed out, Abby keeping hold of Madi.

The two women sprinted down the alley way, before cramming themselves into a smaller alley between two giant apartment buildings. Abby's arms leaning against the wall Madi laid against. They heard yells and shouts as a familiar one seemed to boom.

"COME AFTER ME, PIGS!" They heard Dan shout before they heard gunshots. Madi held her mouth as tears rolled down her face.

"Oh no." Abby whispered, looking away from the entrance of the cranny to see Madi. "Hey, it's okay."

"No, it's not. They just shot Dan." Madi mumbled into her hand as Abby leaned her head onto the other's.

"He's strong. He'll fight them. Everyone's gonna know when they kill him." Abby mumbled into Madi's ear, calming her down.

-

"Hey, you two can come out now." A voice spoke from the entrance. They looked at it was the woman who had sat next to Madi. "Cops are gone."

Once outside of the cranny, the two ran towards the entrance of the bar, seeing Dan leaning on the building.

"They missed me." He chuckled, sitting down as the tender pushed down on his chest. Blood tricked down from his mouth.

"Someone go grab a doctor." The tender spoke loudly, pushing down at a shirt wrapped around Dan's chest. A gun was thrown astray near the two, as a doctor seemed to rush beside another person from the bar.

-

"Holy shit, this fucking sucks!" He shouted from his bed, getting a chuckle from Madi.

"No my fault you had to go be a hero to save your boyfriend." Madi joked, walking into the room to check on him to make sure he didn't roll over on his chest in his sleep.

"Not a boyfriend if it's illegal." He grinned, scooting up so he could sit up in his bed.

"Well, Illinois is always an option." Madi offered, sitting next to his bed.

"I'd miss the ol' Hollywood streets." He pointed out the window to the photographers wanting to come inside so that they could get a picture of Dan. "The lights, the glamour, the acting."

"Want me to tell them to fuck off?" Madi asked, getting up towards the door.

"Let 'em in." Dan sighed, moving towards the edge of his bed. "I'll give them a photo they can't print."

"If you say so." Madi opened the door as they both headed towards the front door.

Later that week, the newspapers published a photo of Dan flipping off the cameras.
