Author note: People fucking die.

Feeling back pains, as she slowly forced her legs to move across the mall while others around her grunted as a greeting. Feeling the weight of her arms, she attempted to keep her shoulders up as she slowly paced herself to the food area of the mall. Touching her upper arm, she felt the deep bite mark as she can't remember why it was there. Feeling as if her stomach was clawing at her, she felt her brain thump against her skull. She limped, small amounts of pain coming from her right leg. Seeing the other zombies sitting there, waiting for her, she sat next to one.

"Hungry. Airport. Living." Called on of her friends, Dan. It was hard for them to talk. Hell, it's hard to talk when your dead. Walkers were what some of them were called. At least, that's what Madi was. Pale face that was bulging with veins that popped out, walkers walked. They were silent, kind of smart, but slow. Dan was another kind, sprinters. They were fast, but for some reason Dan couldn't run very fast. Must have been something back in his living life. A bite mark was displayed on his neck.

"Group?" It was hard to gather words, yet some they knew. As Madi spoke, others grunted or nodded in return as they slowly got up. There were several zombies that had walked with them. Some Walkers, some Sprinters, some Sleepwalkers, even what looked like something slowly turning into Dustwalkers. Sleepwalkers was self explanatory, they walk in a daze, yet are incredible intelligent. Dustwalkers are those who give up as slowly eat themselves, leaving them to just bones.

Looking closer at her dead friend, she saw that he had a name tag, probably why he remembered his name. A mark on his nose that matched her's, as if something was being held there for their living life.

Once they had arrived at the airport, they heard some laughter. The Sleepwalkers pointed and grunted for them to split up and surround the living.

The living, however, where unaware of this sudden surprise attack soon to be planted on them.

As Abby held a gun loosely in her hand, she laughed as Jaz giggled at something stupid Sara was doing. Beside them was Gabby with her bag as she rolled her eyes at them, Junior who had came because he was forced to by his friend, and Aiden who had forced Junior to come as he held a gun bigger than Abby's.

"You guys, shut the fuck up, those zombies might be here." Gabby complained as she walked slightly away from the group. Junior seemed to follow, taking a liking to her even though his girlfriend died only a few days ago.

"It's fine, we have guns!" Sara pointed at her pocket as she also gestured to Abby and Aiden. Jaz didn't have one, being the one holding most of the medical supplies and was protected by Aiden and Abby almost at all times.

"We just need to get that medicine for the camp and we get the fuck out of here." Aiden spoke softly, just in case there were indeed zombies within the walls of the airport with them. The airport had held a bunch of medication for pain relief and more before it had been gassed out and zombies filled it.

"I'm going over here with Gabby." Junior stuck his hands in his pockets as the both of them slowly moved their way to a small enclosed room.

"Don't die." Aiden warned him, walking off with the other two to the main lounge.

Dan gestured to the two walking alone as he sprinted off beside a wall, not facing the other three but just enough for him to run in and bite the two and get out. The others waiting for him to make his move. Madi stood beside him, having some strange anger fill her as she saw the curly headed boy.

"Do you think we should- AH!" Gabby began to speak before Dan leaped out and pulled her to the ground. The rest of the undead took that as a signal to feast. The others ran at the two as they didn't have any fire arms except a bat that Junior had in his hands.
