Author Note: Holy shit, this book actually got more than 100 reads. I only expected like 25/28 or something like that but jesus fucking christ. Anyway, the next one will be WTTP(Welcome To The Party) where I get to write everyone's deaths. Thinking about doing another creature thing. Enjoy the shit that I'm writing most likely at 2 in the morning.

"What do you remember?" Abby whispered as the others stayed asleep. Dan even seemed in a strange slumber as the two could hear the gutted breathing coming from the boy.

"Dying." Madi shook slightly as Abby held a hand to her face and held the undead's cheek.

"I'm so sorry we couldn't get to you in time." Abby offered a weak smile as Madi sighed and leaned into her hand.

"Not your fault." Madi smiled as she felt the warmth coming from Abby's hand against her cold, dead flesh.

"We shouldn't have split up. I can't believe Junior let you get bit." Abby's smile turned into a scowl as she remembered the traitor.

"He shot me." Madi muttered as she let her hand fell down to her thigh as she pressed against it. Surprisingly, she felt a dull twinge of pain. Wincing, Abby looked at her in shock.

"I can't believe he... Are you hurt?" Abby asked as she reached towards a bag next to her full of supplies.

"I don't know." Madi sighed, sad from the warmth of the hand being pulled away as Abby opened the bag and grabbed a few things and reached for Madi's leg. Madi lefted her leg up and sat her foot beside Abby as Abby rolled up her pant leg. Looking at the wound, it seemed to have somehow healed over the few months Madi had turned. The bullet could still been seen as Abby grabbed the bullet with heavy duty tweezers.

"This might hurt." Abby took a breathe in as she yanked out the bullet as quickly as possible. Madi clenched her jaw as she felt the dull pain suddenly explode as it slowly diminished into another dull pain. Abby inspected the wound as she watched the flesh slowly shake along with Madi. Dark red blood seeped down as Abby grabbed the bandage to wrap around her leg.

"H-hurt." Madi stuttered as she felt Abby's pressure increase on the wound as she wrapped the bandage around it.

"I know, I just need to stop the... blood." Abby hesitated, not sure if it was blood or not. Madi's hands gripped the seat as she held in a yelp of pain. Eventually, Abby finished wrapping it and put her arms around Madi.

"Thank you." Madi muttered, surprised of how warm Abby was. Welcoming the hug and returning it with her own hug.

"I'm sorry Madi." Abby let her tears fall onto Madi's back as the other was frightened by how Abby held on to her for dear life. "I'm sorry we couldn't stop you from.. from..."

"Dying?" Madi asked as she heard Abby harshly inhale as she continued to sob. It took a while as Madi let Abby hold onto her crying.

"Okay, we need to get moving." Sara helped make sure that all the bags were filled with the medical supplies that caused them to even come out here.
