“Midnight wasn’t in the dormitory and I thought Amy was getting Adam.” Chantelle explained. Everyone turned to Amy; she was standing in the middle of the crowd.

“Adam wasn’t in his dorm either.” Amy answered.

“Then where could they be? It’s fifth teen past one.” Dan piped up. Then I heard a voice. It wasn’t coming from the roof.

“Ssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh.”   I snapped.

“What is it?” Bella asked. I ignored her and started to walk towards where the voice came from. I edged towards the edge of the roof and looked down to see Adam. He was leaning against the wall and getting something out of his pocket. It was a bag of blood with the infirmary. I watched as his teeth extended into fangs and bit into the bag. He sucked it clean within five minutes. Then he dumped the bag in the bin and moved back around the front of the building. I turned back round to the rest. They had followed me to the edge of the roof and had seen the whole thing. O shit. They were all staring in wide eyes. Then there was another noise. I went to the other side of the roof. The gate was being opened. I looked down to see a hooded figure. I couldn’t see their face. Then I heard a gasp from behind and the figure started looking around. I lied down on the ground immediately so they didn’t see me. She looked up towards the roof and I saw their face. Familiar blue eyes seemed to glow in the dark and black strands fell down on her face. It was Midnight. I guess that explains where they were. I turned around to see the rest still with their mouths open.

“I think they have some explaining to do.” Chantelle said.

Chantelle, Amy, Dan, Bella and I ran down the stairs and across the corridor.

“Unlock the door please, Sarah.” Chantelle commanded.

“Why can’t you do it?” I snapped as I took my keys out of my hoodie and unlocked the door. There stood Midnight next to the bed. I saw a hint of fear in her eyes but it disappeared in seconds. She casually leaned against the bed frame.

“Oh hi.” She said casually.

“Where were you?” Amy asked.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Midnight countered.

“Bullshit” Amy shouted.

“Amy, no need for such language.” Midnight smirked. She obviously knew that she was pressing Amy buttons. Amy was about to rage when Chantelle butted in.

“We need to talk.” Chantelle stated. Midnight raised an eyebrow.

“It’s nothing to worry about.” Chantelle continued before grabbing Midnight’s wrist and leading her down the corridor. Then Amy knocked on another dorm door. The door opened and there stood Adam. His hair was scruffy and he had put a sleepy look on his face. He’s a good actor because there was no way he was sleepy after feeding. I’m surprised he doesn’t look like he’s having a sugar rush.

“Come on.” Amy snapped before grabbing the back of Adam’s shirt and yanking him out of the door way. She then started yanking him down the corridor like Chantelle had done with Midnight. They both shot me a ‘what the hell is happening?’ look. I mouth the words ‘they saw’ and they suddenly looked confused. They looked at each other with a look of fear. I knew what they were both thinking, shit. We all went to the hall. Dan pulled two chairs into the middle of the floor. They then forced Midnight and Adam to sit down.

“So would you like you to explain where you were Adam, at one in the morning?” Chantelle asked circling them. Midnight’s face turned to stone and became somewhat intimidating.

“I went to the toilet.” Adam answered.

“Would you like me to tell you, what I think you were doing at one ‘o’clock this morning” Chantelle said.

“Go ahead.” Adam said.

“I think that you had got out of bed because you were hungry; grabbed a bag of blood from the infirmary and started to make your way to the back of the building where you were going to suck the bag dry.” Chantelle explained. Adam’s jaw clenched.

“You know that’s an interesting theory but it’s too bad you already caught the vampire.” He countered.

“We never caught the vampire which you would know if you were at our meeting on the roof. But you see you weren’t there because you were too busy drinking blood to care.” Chantelle argued.

“You have no evidence.” He argued back.

“Yes, we do. We are all witnesses to you growing fangs and drinking from the blood bag.” Chantelle stated.

“Shit.” He whispered under his breath.

“Ha, I heard you. Vampire!” Chantelle shouted.
