The next morning, I walked into the hall in the middle was a single table and a letter on it. I opened it.
Dear year 10s
You will not leave this school. We have big plans for you. You are surrounded there is no escape and please tell my brother his services are much needed and if he wishes to help it would be much appreciated.
Cassius, leader of the vampire army, Dawn
Crap. I ran back on the dorm.
"Year 10s, get up. I think you'll want to see this." I said
"What is it?" Amy snapped after slamming her dormitory door shut.
"Just read it." I snapped back.
She ripped the note out of my hand and started reading. I watched her eyes scanning the note. Meanwhile the others crowded round us
"O crap." She said. Then she turned to me.
"Where did you find this?"She asked.
"It was on the table in the middle of the hall." I answered.
"Who's it from?" Chantelle asked.
"It's from the leader of the vampire army." Amy answered.
"What does it say?" Bella piped up.
"It says: 'Dear year 10s......'" Amy read. She read the note. When she had finished I peered round at everybody else. They were staring wide eyed; their faces were struck by horror.
"They are surrounding us." Bella said.
"They have big plans for us." Dan said.
"Never mind those bits. I'm more concerned about his brother." Chantelle snapped.
"There's a vampire here, in this school, among us." Amy said.
"We have to find out who it is." Chantelle said.
"And how do we do that?" Midnight asked.
"I'll go the security room and watch everyone through the monitors. Anyone who acts weirdly or subsciously." Chantelle answered.
"You wouldn't know if someone was acting weird if it was tattooed on their forehead."Amy sneered.
"It's not like you could do any better." Chantelle sneered back.
"Why don't you both go and act like perverts." Midnight snapped before walking off.
"Where are you going?" Amy shouted after her.
"Toilet. Why? Can't I even go to the toilet now?" Midnight shouted back.
"Well, I guess I better get going to the security room." Chantelle said.
"Me too." Amy added. Then they strided down the corridor towards the security room.
"Great just what we need. Two girls trying to find a vampire by staring at computer screens hoping for him to let his guard down." Dan snapped.
"And what do you suggest we do?" Adam asked. He was the calmest out of all of us, which was weird.
"Why don't we hold a stake to everyone neck and see who is the most scared." Dan replied.
"That's a bit extreme, don't you think?" Bella piped up.
"Well what's your idea?" Dan asked.
"We interrogate everyone."Bella said.
"And how are we going to do that? It'll take hours and we'll cause a panic throughout the school." Dan argued.
"And holding a stake at their neck won't." Bella argued back.
"Will you stop it? There's no point arguing over a decision that's already been made." Adam shouted over them.
"I'll stop when he realises how stupid his idea is." Bella snapped.
"I think you mean when you realise how stupid your idea is." Dan snapped back.
"Dan I think it's time we go." Adam said nudging him away from Bella. Adam managed to drag him away. Then it was just Bella and me.
This is going to be a long week.
