I arrive at the school with Adam. The hall doors were open probably because it was quite hot. Hot for England that is, so it was around 20 degrees Celsius. They were all shouting at each other.

"You have gone with her," Chantelle shouted.

"No you should have gone with her," Dan shouted.

"You both should have gone with her," Bella argued.

"Don't care who should have gone with her. We need to find a way to get her back," Thomas shouted.

I turn to Adam.

"Maybe we should come back later," Adam said.

"If we come back later, then they will be gone because they will have gone to the base," I replied.

We walked towards the angry mob of our friends.

"Sarah, you're ok," Dan said.

"Yeah, Sarah is here but where's Midnight," Bella said.

Then they turn to Adam.

"Are you Adam?" Thomas asked. Thomas had never seen Adam face to face.

"It depends who you are." Adam replied.

"I'm Thomas, Midnight's friend." Thomas answered.

"Then I'm not Adam." Adam replied.

"He's Adam." Chantelle butted in.

"Really, you're the one that took Midnight," Thomas said.

"Hold on, the one that took Midnight. I would never," Adam replied.

"Then who took her," Amy said.

"The same people who took me." Adam answered.

"You didn't break out of Headquarters by yourself." Chantelle said.

"No, they broke in and knocked me out and took me away." Adam answered.

"Well this awkward. We thought you took her and did the bitey thing," Dan said. Adam's jaw dropped.

"Dan we weren't supposed to tell him that," Bella said.

Adam started to pace.

"Why would you think that," Adam asked.

"I thought that at first because I mean it's obvious that you like her," Dan said.

"Dan shut up." Adam said.

"Is that true?" Amy said. There was silence then he finally said:

"It doesn't matter right now because if we don't find a way to get her back she's going to end up with an appetite for blood."

"What do we do then?" Thomas said.

"We rescue her right now," Chantelle said.

"It's not that easy." Adam stated.

"Then we wait till night fall." Bella said.

"Vampires are most active then." Adam replied.

"I'm sure we'll figure something out, but right now I want to ask Adam a question. What do you know about Midnight?" Chantelle asked.

"Not this again," Amy said.

"Well, we did have this conversation near the beginning of the year. She said that she had a tough childhood and she is misunderstood and her parents hate her," Adam said.

"Wait a minute she told you all this but never told me," Thomas said.

"It was probably just a cover story," Chantelle said.

"Why are you asking," Adam asked.

"Chantelle thinks Midnight is a werecat," Amy said.

"No way is Midnight a werecat. Werecats are ten times more vicious," Adam said.

"How do you know," Bella said.

"Because I'm at war with them," Adam answered.

"You are?" Amy asked.

"Well the vampires are but me personally I think they are fine except for they can be a bit vicious." Adam said.

"Why are you fine with them," Chantelle said.

"Because I have no reason not to be," Adam said.

"Back to Midnight how are we going to save her," Thomas said.

"We could charge in with weapons and threaten them," Dan said.

"That would never work, any other ideas," Amy said.

"Maybe if we knew how many vampires are there we could come up with something that might actually work, Adam." Chantelle said.

"Is anyone else hungry?" Adam asked.
