*Two Weeks Later*Michelle's Night
Tatiana, Michelle, and Kylie walked into the the doomed shaped ballroom. Every single Man and woman danced as kids played and ran around the big building. They all went their separate ways. Kylie had ran up to a balcony that had a garden, Michelle went into a corner and Tatiana went to the drinking table.
Michelle watched as the couples roomed around and girls drooled over the soldiers and the soldiers hit on the girls. She rolled her eyes in disgust, Michelle has never had good luck in love and never needed a man to support her life and dreams.
"Well if it isn't Michelle, where's your other lovely girls?," Burr came around her field of vision, circling her.
" Ugh Burr, what do you want," Michelle looked at him in disgust, watching him carefully.
" You looked lonely I thought you'd like to dance with someone," Burr smirked and stopped right in front of her.
" If I am going to dance with someone, it will be anyone but you Aaron," Michelle gagged and strutted away from him.
"Who does he think is, coming up to me with that disgusting smug look, someone needs him in his place," Michelle ranted.
"You looked lonely I thought you'd like to dance with someone," Michelle mocked him.
"Dumb piece of sh-," Michelle bumped into something hard and fell over. Great just what I needed, Michelle thought to herself.
" I'm so sorry Madam, I didn't see you there, do forgive me," a tall brown french guy apologized while holding out his hand. Michelle groaned and took his hand.
"It's whatever, just watch where you're going next time, you might knock down or bump into a less forgiving person," Michelle wiped off her hands with her beautiful blue dress. She looked up at him.
"Sorry, I haven't introduced myself," He said.
"No need to buddy, I'm not looking for a friend or anything else in that matters,"She began walking away. He grabbed her hand and pulled her back to him gently.
"What's wrong with having a friend, you seem like you need one espesially after that encounter with Burr," he stated. Michelle chuckled and smiled.
"Maybe you're right, but only until this ball is over, after that nothing else, deal,"Michlle held her for an agreement.
" I think I'll grow on you for more than a lifetime, but deal," He said shaking her hand then kissing it.
"Ew what was that for,"She wiped her hand on her dress.
"Well I'm a gentleman, Miss?," He questioned.
"Michelle, my name is Michelle," She said.
"I'm Marquis de Lafayette, but you can call me Lafayette or Laf," He smiled.
"Nice to meet you Lafayette, now that we are aquantited let's dance," Michelle took his hand and pulled him to the dance floor.
"I like you, you're a really confident, independent, and beautiful," Lafayette stated and smiled down at Michelle as she pulled him to the dance floor passing and pushing through the dancing couples.
"Don't try anything you french fry," Michelle said as she stopped and turned around.
"Well you only gave me a night, so I must say everything I can before I never see or speak to you again,"He smirked. Michelle shook her and went into the dancing position with Lafayette.
As they waltz around the room they talked more and more and grew closer with every agreement made on equality and the revolution. The night was getting close to an end, but they used every second they could get. Little did Michelle know that she was growing fond of Lafayette and the same with him.
They walked out into the night and sat in the East Garden. Lafayette had given Michelle his jacket and sat on a white bench.
" Michelle, I know you said that you wanted nothing to do with me after this ball, but I want more than that," he faced her.
" Oh no, Lafayette I don't see you like that my man," she stated.
"Oh that's not what I meant, I mean that I want to be friends with you, we have so much in common and I want to become closer with you, You are a very intelligent, beautiful woman, so what do you say," He said.
"Fine, but that's if you can find me after this ball, that proves that you want my friendship," She smiled at him. He hugged her.
"You got yourself a deal my friend,"Lafayette said.
"Hey you haven't found me yet, we aint friends until you find me again," Michelle warned him.
" Yes Madam," he kissed her hand while keeping eye contact.
"Hey be careful out there Laf, we may not be friends but If you really want my friendship you need to stay alive," She said.
"Oui, mon amour," He said, winking.
They walked to the Carriage and they said their goodbyes as he watched her go with her two friends.
