Chapter 19 (Push it Pt.2)

Michelle, Kylie, Tatiana, and Maria were all discussing the dresses and designs the tailor had suggested for Kylie's wedding.

"I think Maria would look lovely in this one," Kylie suggested at one of the dresses.

"Ooh, I really like that," Maria smiled at the design.

"Good, 2 more dresses to discuss," Kylie sighed.

"Michelle, you good?," Tatiana asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine, someone is just kicking a little too hard for my liking," Michelle groaned.

" Okay, are you sure you wanna keep going?," Kylie asked.

"Yeah, of course," Michelle said.

"Okay, dress number 2," Kylie flipped to the next page.

"I think Michelle would look good in that one," Maria said.

"I agree," Tatiana smiled.

"What do you think Michelle?," Kylie showed her.

"Ooh yes, just my style," Michelle pursed her lips.

"Then that leaves the final bridesmaid dress," Kylie smiled and showed Tatiana.

"It's beautiful," Tatiana giggled.

"Mama,"Layla hummed.

"She keeps saying Mama for the past 5 days," Tatiana bounced Layla on her knee.

"She's so cute," Maria booped her little tiny nose.

Michelle felt wet, she got up and felt her dress soaked, she had just gone into labor.

"Tati, they're coming," Michelle said.

"Yeah they should be on their way back soon," Anna said while sipping tea.

"NO, THEY ARE COMING THE BABIES," Michelle yelled.

"Oh my gosh," Tatiana put her tea down and helped Michelle go to the bedroom.

"Maria, go get Lafayette," Kylie said.

"I'll go get the midwife," Kylie ran out the door with her sister going opposite ways.

"Laf, Michelle's gone into labor," Maria said out of breath.

"What?," Laf eyes widened.

"She is going into labor," Maria repeated herself, Laf and the guys all ran towards his home with Maria right behind them.

"Where's my wife?," Laf said.

"You know you can't go back there Laf," Maria sighed and sat them all down.

"Kylie," Maria got up as her sister walked through the door with the midwife and doctor.

"She's in the room at the far end to the right," Kylie pointed and walked over to her sister.

"Hey guys," Kylie sighed, Alex came up and hugged her.

"Awww," Maria quivered her bottom lip, her babysis was all grown up.

"Shut up," Kylie rolled her eyes as she hugged Alex back. Tatiana came out, and began to retrieve a bucket with water and a couple of cloths.

"How is she?," Laf asked Tatiana.

"Michelle will be just fine," Tatiana gave Laf a gentle smile, she walked on back.

"Is Laf here?," Michelle asked clearly in lots of pain and sweaty.

"Yes, don't worry," Tatiana took a cold cloth to Michelle's forehead and dabbed it.

"It looks like baby number 1 is ready," the doctor said.

"You ready?," Tatiana whispered to Michelle, Michelle nodded and held her bestfriend's hand.

"Now Mrs. Lafayette, I'm going to count to 3 and then you'll push for 10 seconds okay," The doctor spread her legs.

"1...2...3... Now," he said. Michelle pushed hard as she could, she screamed feeling the baby's head coming out.

"Michelle," Laf got up, and started to walk towards the bedroom. Kylie and Maria's eyes both widened as they rushed to get Laf. Laf opened the door and saw a sight he wished he never saw and fainted.

"Get the right, I'll get the left," Kylie said to her sister as they both picked up Laf and dragged him to the living room.

"And think he's seen all the bloodshed of a revolutionary battle and can't even handle that," Maria sighed. Alex, Hercules, and John all felt a little offended, giving a pouty look.

"She's got a point," Kylie sarcastically said.

"True,"John said.

"It's a boy," the midwife smiled.

"Okay, there is still one more left," the doctor sighed, Michelle cried.

"I can't do this, I'm too tired," Michelle whined out.

"Michelle, you got this, you want to meet your other child, now push hard to get that lifetime of love and happiness," Tatiana squeezed her hand reassuringly.

"1....2....3... Now," Doctor repeated.

"Layla," John whined as she pulled at her father's hair.

"Mama," Layla said again.

"You think she's almost done," Hercules said.

"I don't know," Kylie said as she woke up Lafayette, Tatiana walked outside of the room.

"The babies are here,"She announced. No one in history has seen Marquis de Lafayette move so fast in his life to run back and meet his children.

"Holy crap, I don't think Laurens over here moved that fast," Alex chuckled, causing a nudge to the rib and a glare from his best friend.

"Ow," Alex rubbed his side.

"Michelle," Laf came to her side.

"It's a boy and a girl," She smiled tiredly to her husband.

"I'm so proud of you, I wouldn't want anyone else to have my wonderful beautiful children," Laf held her hand.

"Here's one baby boy and one baby girl," the midwife handed the babies to Michelle and Lafayette.

"What shall we name them?," The doctor asked.

"Robert for the boy, and Alice for the girl,"Michelle kissed her baby's head.

"He's so tiny," Laf smiled as the doctor and midwife had left.

Eventually after having a family moment, they had their friends leave and asked to come back tomorrow. Laf had made a nice warm bath ready for Michelle. He put the babies in their nursery and cleaned off the sheets and put new ones on. He helped Michelle when she had finished. He carried her to bed, and they finally could rest.

"Je t'aime," Laf whispered in her ear.

"I love you too,"Michelle kissed Laf and cuddled deep onto him.

I know it's been a while but doing school work at home ain't easy. I'll make it up for lost time. I wish you all the best and that you and yours families are healthy.
