Kylie's Night
Tatiana, Michelle, and Kylie had walked into the ballroom. Kylie looked around and saw a staircase, curiosity taking over her she ran up the stairs not looking back. She slowly walked up to a balcony filled with a garden. She looked around at the plants that surrounded her and sat on a fountain edge. Kylie looked up at the moon.
"It's so beautiful tonight," She said to herself and took a slim rock into her hand rubbed it.
"It is beautiful isn't it," a voice responded.
Kylie jumped and got up confused.
"Oh Lord, I'm hearing things now," She said in panic.
"Oh no, sorry I didn't mean to make you sound crazy,"A guy chuckled as he showed himself.
"Oh, what are you doing up here, don't you want to join the party," Kylie asked, sitting back down.
"Well I could ask you the same thing," He responded back.
"You're right, I'm not much of a party person, plus I wanted to know what was up here so that's why I'm up here, your turn" she looked down and sat at the fountain. He walked to her side and sat down by her.
" Well, I've been here for quite a while now and thought I needed some fresh air but then I saw you and wondered where you would lead me too," He said.
"So you're a stalker," Kylie scouted away.
"Oh no, that sounded wrong I meant, I'm not a stalker, you looked lonely I wanted to give you company," He answered her.
"I see, thank you for your company,"Kylie grinned.
"No problem, but what makes you so introverted," He questioned.
"Well, I never really get that much attention and I always get ignored and interrupted so I don't really bother, but if someone is willing enough to talk to me I'm all yours," Kylie said as she looked at him.
"My name's Alexander Hamilton, but you can call me Alex or Alexander," Alex held out his hand.
She took it into her hand and shook it.
"Nice to meet you Alexander, I'm Kylie Marie, but you can call me Kylie,"She responded and smiled.
"A beautiful name for a beautiful woman," he kissed her hand. Kylie laughed and shook her head knowing it was going to be an eventful night for the both of them.
"Thank you Alex, I could say the same thing about you too," She giggled.
"Oh You really think I'm beautiful," He laughed.
"Yes, equality for all men and women, men deserve to be beautiful too you know," Kylie smiled and looked up at the moon.
"I agree, I like a woman who has a mind of her own and believes in something," He looked at her as she was looking at the moon. As she looked back down she caught him looking at her.
"Stop that,"Kylie nudged Alex in the arm.
"Ow, stop what," Alex rubber his arm.
"Oh you're such a baby, you know what you were doing,"Kylie rolled her eyes playfully.
Kylie got up and Alex followed her as she began to walk around the Garden, they both talked more about the war, politics, beliefs, their past, family, themselves and their future.
"Wait so when you got here the ship was just on fire, did you fear that you weren't going to make it," Kylie asked.
"Of course not, I could have just swimmed here we weren't that far away from the country when it caught on fire," He answered.
"Mhm, so you weren't scared one bit that you were going to either burn or drown," Kylie question almost a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
"Okay maybe a little, but I made it, there's a million things I haven't done just you wait," He said confidently.
"How old are you Alex," Kylie asked.
"I'm 24 and you?," He looked at her.
"I'm 19," She answered stopping in her tracks.
"So you've been able to court for awhile now, how has that been," Alex stopped.
"It's been okay I've managed to pull through a couple of guys but they were all the same," Kylie looked down at her dress and kept walking with Alex following her.
"Well I can tell it was their loss," He chuckled.
"You're not wrong, how about you," Kylie chuckled with him.
" I've had many encounters but that doesn't matter now does it,"Alex stopped in front of Kylie.
"No, I guess it doesn't,"Kylie stopped.
"Hey we should get together sometime,"Alex said.
"Okay,"Kylie bit her lip and looked down.
They kept walking, eventually making their way down to the ballroom. Kylie saw her carriage and knew it was time to end the night.
"I have to go,"Kylie said.
"Oh, well it was nice meeting you Marie,"Alex kissed her hand as he winked and walked away.
"You too Hamilton," Kylie smiled to herself watching him walk back to find his friends.
Kylie sighed and walked to her carriage waiting for her two friends to return to notice they weren't the only ones busy tonight.
