Chapter 22 (That Would Be Enough)

Kylie and Maria said their goodbyes as Maria stood at the porch. 

"I'm proud of you," Maria smiled and hugged her.

"Thank you," Kylie smiled back and hugged back.

"Be safe," Maria said as she let go and went inside, Kylie walked away and walked home.

She got there after the long walk and went inside.

"Alex?," Kylie called out for her husband, he walked out of the office and fast walked to her.

"You're back late,"Alex came and hugged her, he backed away holding onto her arms and looked at her stomach.

"What?," Kylie looked at Alex's face, reading his expressions.

"Nothing," Alex shook his head and led them to the couch and set her down and sat down too.

"Alex I have to tell you something," Kylie faced him, Alex's heart beated fast. Was this moment?

"Yeah, what is it?," Alex took off his glasses and set them down on the coffee table.

"I went to the doctor's today with Maria," Kylie sighed and began to look down.

"Are you okay?," Alex asked, concerned.

"Alex we're fine," Kylie said.

"I know we are, but are you?," Alex looked at her confused.

"No, Alex we are fine," Kylie took his hand and put it on her stomach.

"I'm going to be a daddy?," Alex looked back and forth between her and her belly.

"Yes, 3 months," Kylie smiled.

"3 months," Alex gasped.

"Yes," Kylie smiled.

"We gotta celebrate," Alex jumped.

"Not tonight, I'm exhausted," Kylie yawned.

"You're right," Alex grinned and looked at his pregnant wife.

"Tati," John sighed.

"Yes," Tatiana answered while reading her book in bed.

"Can we make a sibling for Layla?," John asked, Tatiana put a bookmark in and set aside on the nightstand on her side.

"Not right now," Tatiana looked at her husband.

"Why not?," John whined.

" Because the baby can wake up any second," She sat up and lifted John up. She sat on his side, legs crossed and had his head in her lap. She began to play and braid his hair, John enjoyed moments like these.

"Okay how about soon?," John traced shapes on her legs.

" Maybe," She chuckled.

"Ugh," John groaned.

"Hey in my eyes I already have two kids," Tatiana giggled.

"Oh really," John sat up and faced his beautiful wife.

"Yes, I already have two kids," Tatiana laughed and kissed his cheek, causing John to blush. 

"You're so cute when you blush," Tatiana smiled watching John glare at her.

"Shut up," He mumbled and pouted. Tatiana booped his nose, John tackled Tatiana and began to tickle her.

  "Ahh, John, st-stahp," She said in between laughs.

"Never!," John shouted.

"Shhh, you're going to wake up the baby," She said.

"Ooh you right," John whispered, John layed down on Tatiana's bedside.
