*One Month Later*
Tatiana set out the table for dinner, her and her lovely mom cooked dinner together as the men watched the kids and discussed politics and the latest news going around in America.
"So when are gonna tell them?," Martha asked her daughter. Tatiana froze in her tracks and situated herself.
"Tell them what?," Tatiana avoided eye contact and kept placing food on the table.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about," Martha wiped off her hands on her apron.
"Is it that obvious?," Tatiana frowned.
"Very," Martha noted and finished the final touches.
Everyone sat down at the table ready to dig into their homemade food. A couple minutes of silence went by and Martha nudged her daughter and looked her in the eye and raised her eyebrows. Tatiana groaned quietly and cleared her throat to get everyone's attention.
"I didn't want to discuss this yet, but I have some news to give you all," Tatiana grabbed John's hand and held it and gave a reassuring squeeze.
"I'm due in 7 months," Tatiana announced.
" Excuse me?," John raised his eyebrows as Washington spit out his tea.
"Eww, Papa you don't spit drink, you swallow your drink," Layla threw a napkin at him.
" I apologize princess, I didn't mean to do that," Washington cleaned up his mess.
"We're having another one?,"John turned to his wife.
"Yeah, we are, which means Layla and Max will be having another addition to the sibling train,"She smiled.
"Not another one," Layla groaned.
"You'll understand when you're an older sweetheart," Tatiana looked at her daughter with so much love.
"Not over my dead body the hell!," John shouted, Tatiana stepped on John's foot under the table.
"Ow! That's not how you play footsie's," John whined.
"I miss home,"Michelle sighed.
"I know ma cheri, we'll be back before you know it," Lafayette frowned, seeing his wife homesick.
"My brother is gone now, as much as I hate to admit I miss that annoying southern accent of his," Michelle frowned and sipped on her tea.
"Mommy can you take me out, Robert is driving me crazy right now," Alice tugged on her mother's skirt.
"Honey, will you be willing to watch your sons for a bit?," Michelle looked at Lafayette.
"Oui, go enjoy your girls' day out," Lafayette handed them some currency and went off to find his sons. Michelle and Alice walked around France. They went to look at fabric, they bought sewing and embroidering equipment. Michelle promised Alice she would teach her how to paint and make candles and got equipment for that as well.
"Let's get some sweets, yeah?," Michelle looked down at her daughter. Alice was the perfect blend of her father and mother. She had her mother's beautiful curls, her father's eyes, her mom's beautiful and charming smile, and the perfect brown skin color, while matching a beautiful green dress like her mom.
"Yay!," Alice shouted and ran straight towards the bakery, with Michelle not too far behind.
"Now we'll have to get something for the rest of our family, because?," Michelle looked her daughter in the eye.
"Because we are all equals and no one gets left out in our family," Alice responded.
"That's my girl," Michelle hugged her.
"Now pick whatever you want my love," Michelle kissed her on the forehead and let her go.
"Michelle? I didn't know you would be in France," A manly voice said behind her. Michelle froze right there not facing the man and watching her daughter.
"Jeremy...," Michelle whispered.
" I'm gonna beat the living hell out of Jefferson, Who does he think he is!," Alexander paced around his office obviously pissed from another debate.
"Alex you're doing it again," Kylie leaned on the doorway.
'Doing what?!," Alex exclaimed.
"Just that," Kylie pursed her lips.
"I-Im sorry," Alex walked over to her kissing her hand.
"You make it up to me by eating your dinner," Kylie looked him in the eye.
"I don't have time to-," Alex was paused.
"How the hell you gonna keep going with work, if one, you don't eat which gives you energy, two you don't sleep which guess what gives you energy, and third you smell like shit," Kylie said sternly to him.
"So I suggest if you wanna keep going you eat your fucking dinner which took me hours to make, you wash off or you cant continue to smell like shit and sleep in the out house," Kylie crossed her arms.
"Are you being serious right now?," Alex copied Kylie's moves.
"Do you see me laughing, smiling, anything that would make this a joke, don't test me Hamilton before I snatch the hell out of your powdered wig," Kylie responded with a godly amount of sass.
"Yes ma'am," Alex pouted and walked out muttering words as Kylie shook her head.
"Don't make me have to watch every move you make," Kylie said, while walking away to check on her sleeping kids.
