"Thank you so much ma'am have a lovely day," Kylie walked out of the bakery. Kylie, not paying attention, bumped into a tall stranger. She dropped her bags watching her groceries fall out.

"I am so sorry miss, I wasn't watching," The stranger bent down to help her clean her mess.

"Wait, I know that voice from anywhere, Thomas?," Kylie looked up.

"Well if it isn't Kylie Marie, you've grown quite a lot since our last meeting," Thomas smiled, moving them away from the entryway of the bakery.

"Last time we saw each other was at Michelle's wedding," Kylie retorted.

"I wasn't really paying attention to you at the time, my sister was getting married," Thomas responded.

"True, that's fair, I guess last time we saw each other when I was 16," Kylie chuckled.

"Yes, I remember," Thomas smiled.

"I've heard a lot about your work lately," Kylie smiled.

"Oh really, by whom? Should I be worried?," Thomas crossed his arms.

"You know who I am married to, right? I would assume that Michelle or Lafayette would say something," Kylie asked.

"No, I've been in France for quite some time now and Michelle and Lafayette have not mentioned much," Thomas looked concerned.

"I'm married to Alexander Hamilton, Thomas," Kylie said.

"You married him!," Thomas exclaimed.

"Yeah, we've been together for a very long time," Kylie eyes widened by Thomas' reaction.

"I don't think you're a bad politician or anything, we're still good friends, but he is my husband and I do love him, so no matter what I'll choose his side,"Kylie continued with a sigh.

"No I understand, I can still tell that his entitled ego hasn't affected you to change, I can still tell you're a great lovely woman, Marie," Thomas kissed her hand and walked off.  Kylie sighed and walked away to go home to her family.

"Tatiana," John hugged his wife from behind.

"Yes John," Tatiana smiled while cooking.

"Did I ever tell you how much I love you," John said.

"Yes, ever since I left you alone with the kids for one day, you've gone non stop telling me this," Tatiana chuckled.

" Well I just don't know how you do it, Layla was crying because I didn't do her hair nice enough, Max kept getting into things he shouldn't, and Michelle would not stop crying," John whined.

"That still doesn't explain how you got that clean diaper on your head and why your shirt was ripped, and why Max was chewing on your boot, and Layla screaming the alphabet in spanish, and you half asleep," Tatiana looked at her husband.

"Honestly, I have no idea either, but that day makes me more appreciative and thankful for my beautiful lovely wife," John kissed her.

"Yeah, but I'm glad to have you around,"she wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around her love handles.

"Oh yeah, why's that,"John smirked.

"Who else am I gonna have open my jars of food," Tatiana laughed.

"Is that all I'm good for? Opening jars for you," John frowned.

"No, of course not,"Tatiana kissed his cheek.

"I mean I can't complain when I get to see this beautiful face all day," John kissed her neck and walked away.

"Mommy I'm hungry," Robert whined.

"There's some bread and cheese and meat out on the counter," Michelle said with her eyes closed as she was laying down on the couch with WIlliam knocked out.

"But I can't reach it," Robert complained.

" I'll get it," Laf walked in and handed Robert the tray. Alice ran over helping her brother devour the food.

"How is my lovely wife doing?," Laf kissed his wife on the cheek.

"Ughhhhhhh," Michelle groaned in response.

"Mmm that mood, okay, that's it I'm going out it's that time during your pregnancy again," Lafayette grabbed his jacket and left.

"Where's daddy going mommy," Alice asked before taking a bite of her little mix of bread, meat, and cheese.

"Something mommy needs right now," Michelle sighed.

"Oh okay," Alice whispered into her brother's ear and pulled him away.

"Hey my cheese," Robert exclaimed as he was pulled away to another room.

"Wait, so when were you going to tell me you and Jefferson were good pals?!," Alex yelled.

"Alex, did you forget me and Michelle have been childhood friends since birth? I can't help that her brother comes with the package, Thomas is not that bad of a man, I haven't talked to him since I was 16, so don't get your panties in a twist," Kylie said.

"You're right I just don't like him," Alex said.

"You don't like him because of his political beliefs," Kylie responded.

"It's not just that," Alex got defensive.

"Then what is it?," Kylie sat down.

"Okay maybe it is that, but his views are so stupid," Alex sat down across from her.

" Honey, I'll love you no matter what, but for all that Jefferson has done for this country and France is a lot, he is a key to our future and so are you, both of you are great at what you're doing, not everyone is going to agree with him and same with you, he's not an idiot, and neither are you, I have respect for Thomas and I've seen him in personal moments as kids, you haven't, I get it, but don't judge a person when you only know one side of them. You only see him as a politician, have you ever seen him as a friend or ally, or a father, a husband, a big brother, he is all of those things and more, so just think about that and he needs to think about the same things with you," Kylie held Alex's hand as she told him this.

"Kylie, that's it, thank you so much, I love you," Alex got up and kissed her and left.

"Shit," Kylie muttered.
