Kylie and Alex had gotten up the following morning. Alex decided to sit down and write, he was still upset about Washington making him leave after the duel. Kylie sighed as she laid there as he wrote.
"My love, can you please come back to bed with me?," Kylie asked calmly, looking at her courter's back.
"I can't, I have to get through to Washington," Alexander wrote.
"Alex pleaseeeeee," Kylie begged and whined. Alex groaned.
"I have more important things to do then lay in bed all day Kylie," He said as he kept writing.
"So what the hell are you trying to say about me?," Kylie said, catching an attitude.
"What I'm saying is, I'm not a woman who can sleep in all day and ignore her duties, I am a man who has to get shit done," Alex said as he turned towards her in his chair. Kylie closed her eyes, pursed her lips and took a deep breath.
"Fine, I'll leave you to it," Kylie got up and walked out of the room and shutting the door behind her. She changed into a more acceptable dress and got ready. Kylie walked out of the house and went out to the local markets in Town square. She picked out food and other items she needed to get.
"Who the hell does he think he is,"Kylie said to herself.
"A woman who ignores her womanly duties," Kylie said in a mocking tone walking inside a tailors shop picking up Alex's suit that was ready.
Kylie walked back home and set things in cupboards, counters, and storage units. She put Alex's suit by the bedroom. Began to prepare a meal out, but still very pissed off.
Alex took a break for second only because his hand started to cramp and the only person who knew how to help with cramps was Kylie. He sighed and got up and thought about what he said earlier to her and decided to sit back down.
Kylie sat there in silence, wishing she had more independence. She put the skillet above the fire and sat down and began to sew on the couch. She aggressively made cute baby clothing for a couple who just had a baby. Kylie wasn't very careful and poked her finger with the needle.
"OW," Kylie yelled out. She bit her lip, it wasn't the worst pain she felt but it still stung in her opinion. She took out the needle as blood gushed out of her finger, she got up and grabbed some bandage and alcohol. Alex ran out of the room.
"Kylie are you okay?," He came to her side.
"I'm fine," Kylie said through her clenched teeth and poured alcohol onto her finger and put the bandage on top of it.
"I just heard you scream," Alex said as he watched.
"Well I'm fine you can go back to doing your important work," Kylie said as she walked off.
"I know what I said Kylie, I didn't mean to make it sound that harsh,"He followed her.
"Well it's already been said Hamilton, if you're not careful you might end up shot because of your words," Kylie said to him.
"What do you mean by that?," Alex rolled his eyes.
"What I'm saying is that you don't think before you say, do, or write, and if you're not careful you're going to piss off the wrong guy and meet your grave early!," Kylie yelled out.
"But not only that, you hurt me! All I want is to spend time with you and all you care about is this war, and everytime we argue and forgive each other I think you've learned your lesson but you haven't," Kylie began to tear up. Alex looked down.
"Kylie, I'm sorry but this work is important we need to win this war," Alex said.
" I don't know what to do anymore with you,"Kylie shook her head and left leaving him there. She knew that the war was important and that Alex was a vital part but she needed air and some space for the moment. Alex stood there and went over to the fireplace taking the skillet to the counter to cool off. He sat in his room and wrote some more.
