Chapter 34 In your arms

After they arrived in their hotel, they walked back to their respective rooms in silence.

Camila and Lauren still hand in hand behind Normani who keeps babbling about their encounter with Charlie and Maya.

Lauren squeezed Camila's hand to get her attention. When the brunette looks at her she asked her if she was okay and Camila nods her head not saying anything but she wiggle out her hand from Lauren's grip and snake it into her waist to pull her closer.

The singer knows that the earlier conversation with Normani in the car is still bothering her girlfriend but she doesn't want to talk about it too.

She was also uncomfortable talking about an addition to the family especially now that she and Camila just got back together and it was too early to talk about it.

When Camila side hug her, she turns her head and looks at her and kiss her forehead and simply said,

"It's okay babe. We'll talk about it later. Okay?"

"Okay."

Normani was already in front of her room when she turns and address the couple who was in their own little world.

"Hey Lovebirds? See yah later okay? Our flight back is 5 in the afternoon, we should be in the tarmac at 4'oclock. It's almost 2 in the afternoon so better pack your bags now."

She didn't wait for the reply and entered her room, slamming it shut.

"I guess I have to go my room first and pack my things." Lauren said to Camila once they were in front of her room.

"Yeah, me too. I have to shower too."

"I'll go your room once I've finished my things. See you later babe." She pecked Camila's lips and entered her room.

Camila continue to walk to her room.

Once she's inside, she pulled out her bag from the closet and pack the things she bought from the mall and the dress Normani bought for her the other day.

She didn't unpack her things when they arrived, she just gets the necessary clothes to wear when she needed to.

She quickly gets her ripped jeans and light blue crop top and quickly go to the bathroom to shower.

Meanwhile, on Lauren's room.

She was still pacing back and forth. she didn't know if Camila wants to talk having a baby again.

"Urrgh! Get yourself together Lauren!" she said to herself.

She decided she will avoid the topic as long as Camila will not the one who will talk about it first. She knows that they were both uncomfortable talking about it.

She started packing her bags. And after an hour packing her things and some stuff.

She took a long cold shower because she can't resist herself thinking about being intimate with Camila again.

Once she's done and fix her things.

She took her two bags and her guitar to Camila's room.

Camila was taking a nap after she got out from the shower and she woke up by the knocks ate her door.

She stood up from her bed and straighten her shirt and opens the door and was meet by a concerned face by her girlfriend.

"Hey Camz? Are you okay? Why you took so long?"

"Sorry I took a nap after taking a bath. Please Come in."

"Did I woke you up? Sorry. I didn't mean to."

"No, it's okay. I was waiting for you."

Lauren wheeled her luggage inside the room and placed it beside Camila's bag.

She pecked her lips and mumbled, "I miss you."

The younger Latina chuckled, "Lo, you saw me an hour ago."

"I know. I know. But can you blame me? I miss your beautiful face babe."

"We still have an hour. Maybe we can still take nap?" Camila asked.

"Yeah sure babe. I'm a bit tired too."

They both went to bed.

Lauren lay on her back and spread her arms.
Camila crawled beside the singer and rest her head on her girlfriend's chest.

She can hear the faint noise of her heartbeat which surprisingly made her relax and she slowly drifted back to sleep.

The singer smiled and shut her eyes while she hugged the brunette tightly in her arms.

The couple was taken out of their slumber by series of loud knock at Camila's door.

They both stir awake and slowly Lauren put Camila's head on the pillow and stood up to open the door.

"Ha! Finally, someone answered her door!"
the tall woman said without noticing who opened the door and when she looked up she saw Lauren and a smirk immediately occupies her lips.

"Oh Lauren, you're here. That's why you're not answering your door when I went there."

"Come in," she steps aside to let Normani enter the room.

"After I took my shower and fix my things, I went here to help Camila but she'd already done. We decided to take a nap while we wait for the time."

Normani saw Camila still laying in the bed, half sleep.

"She looks tired Laur." She said with a smirk

"Hey now. We didn't do anything. Are we leaving?"

"Yeah, I booked a cab and he's on his way."

"I'll wake up her, meet you downstairs?"

"Okay. Don't take too long."
