Chapter 31 Goodnight

CHAPTER 31

After the concert they all went to the restaurant for team dinner and mini celebration for Lauren and Camila.

Lauren was trending all over social media as well as Camila after what happen in her concert.

Normani’s phone keeps ringing, they were magazine editors and celebrity shows who wants an exclusive interview for the new couple. But all of them were turned down.

Camila and Lauren sat beside each other.

Harry do most of the talking about how Lauren prepared for her surprise and how she is terrified before the concert.

The British guy kept teasing the raven-haired singer and they were all laughing on how Harry imitates her face.

Camila was listening intently to him, very surprised on how Lauren prepared for her.

Their dinner went well. Others from the team decided to head on the nearest bar to extend their celebration.

Meanwhile, Normani, Camila and Lauren decided to head back to their hotel to rest.

Once in the hotel, Normani went to her room while Lauren and Camila chose to stay at the latter’s room.

They both sat on the bed. Silence surrounds the room.

“Lo?” Camila broke the silence.

“Yeah?”

“Are you okay?”

“Yeah. Just tired. It’s been a long day.”

“Yeah, it is.”

“Camz?”

The brunette is looking for something in her baggage she just simply hums in reply.

Lauren heard and continued,

“You said Yes because you want too right? Not because I caught you off guard in front of so many people?”

Camila stopped.

She walks toward the singer and took her hands, “Of course Lo, I want to be with you that’s why I said yes.” And then, she kissed her lips.

They pull away and Lauren immediately hug the brunette. “Thank you Camz.”

Camila broke the hug and she handed a pair of PJs to Lauren, “Here, I hope it fits you. Go shower first. So you can rest after.”

Lauren took the PJs and stood up and walk towards the bathroom and shut the door behind her.

After Lauren shut the door, Camila let out long sigh.

She was exhausted for the night and being so close with Lauren makes her mind crazy. She went back to her luggage to find another pair of PJs for herself.

Minutes passed Lauren emerged from the bathroom, wearing Camila’s Pjs, the top is smaller and the pants is shorter than her.

Camila heard the bathroom opened and she looks towards Lauren, she couldn’t help but smile at the sight, her Pjs might be smaller for the singer but its suits her.

She was snapped from her thoughts when she heard her name being called.

“Camz?”

“Camila?”

The brunette being called cleared her throat.
“U-Uh... yeah Lo?”

“I was asking you if you’re going to take shower too.”

“Ah! Yes. I... Uh, gonna head to shower now.” She stood up and walks past to Lauren whom chuckled at her reaction.

She immediately shut the door behind her. She released a deep breath as she clutched her chest.

There so many emotion going through her head right now and the least she wants to think is being intimate with the singer.

She began to shower and she stayed there longer than she was supposed to be.

She stepped out the shower with a clearer mind for the night. She dressed with her own set of Pjs and exited the bathroom only to find a sleeping Lauren on her bed.

The singer was tired and exhausted from all the preparations for her concert, she waited for Camila to finished her bath but once she lay down on the brunette’s bed, her eyes become heavy and she fell asleep.

Camila walk towards the sleeping Lauren on her bed. She sat beside the singer.

She caressed the singer’s cheek with her right hand and removes some of her hair that sprawled in her face, she chuckled to herself because Lauren is deep sleeper ever since they were teens.

Camila decided to sleep beside Lauren, she put the blanket for both of them.

She was battling with herself if she will hug the singer and she chose not to but she scooted closer to the singer.

“Goodnight Lauren.” She closes the bedside light and close her eyes and drifted to sleep.

Lauren woke up in the middle of the night, she was in panic because she woke up in a different room.

She notices that there’s a weight on her waist when she looked down she notice it was Camila. Once she saw the brunette she immediately calmed down.

The memory of last night slowly came back on her, the surprise, the dinner and they both showered until she fell asleep while waiting for the brunette. She smiled at the memory.

She looked at the bedside to look for the time, it was 3 o’clock in the morning. She decided to sleep more since it’s their last night at Denver. She moves her arms under Camila’s head to bring her closer. The brunette scooted closer and tightens the grip on Lauren’s waist.

Lauren drifted to sleep again with huge smile on her face.
