"But..." Ally says.
"What the...?" Ed says.
"Hello, I am general Viggo" he says, standing up and taking a slight bow.
It's him. 'He's the one that took my mother away from me. It's all his fault.' I feel anger rising up inside of me and lose control. I jump at him and tackle him to the ground and press his arms behind his back.
"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!" I yell at him. "YOU'RE THE REASON SHES DEAD!"
"Whoa, whoa, calm down".
"HE KILLED HER!" I say, and put his arms into an uncomfortable position.
"Jayden, stop now!" Lili says as she runs over from one of the other tables.
"NO! IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF HIM!"
"I'll handle this" Arno says, and pulls out a small handheld device that shoots a dart out and it hits me in the back. I feel drowsy. It has to be the same dart I got hit with last time.
"It's all his fault..." I say as I fall into a deep sleep.
"All his fault..."*****
"Jayden? Jayden...Jayden!" I hear, and open my eyes immediately. It sounds exactly like how my mum said it nearly a week ago. Back before any of this happened. Back when life was good. Back when life was normal. When I open my eyes I see Lili standing over me, a needle in her hand.
"Where am I? What happened?" I say, still feeling dizzy from the dart shots.
"You're in the medical wing, we're monitoring your feelings through a new brain scanner" she says, gesturing to some things that are strapped to my head. They look like tubes, but different at the same time.
"Can you tell me why you're so angry at General Viggo?"
"Because it's his fault. All his fault".
"What's his fault?" She asks.
"It's his fault that my mum's dead" I say, the memory of her screams entering my mind.
"Wait, how is it exactly?"
"In Melbourne, we found a note on the body of a lieutenant. I said that General Viggo sent him there to kill anybody else there. We kill him, but the general wasn't there. We went to Sydney because we thought it was safe there. General Viggo sent troops there to kill people. And he killed her. She's gone now. Forever."
"Oh" Lili says. "that makes a lot of sense now".
"Well I'm going to go talk to him. In the mean time, just eat some of the food on the table to your right" she says, and walks out the door. I lie there in silence. The room is pretty big. There are a few other patients in beds along the wing. Somebody enters the room and I hope it's Lili. It turns out that it's just some nurses coming to treat a girl at the other end of the room on my right. Lili walks in about five minutes later.
"Hey, he said that he was forced to do it"
"Sure, sure" I say.
"Well the president of the USA is forcing each county to do the same thing as what's happening here".
"Wait, really?"
"Yeah" she says.
"So the president is causing al of this?"
"Yes"
"Why?"
"He thinks that the world is too over populated. So he decided to take matters into his own hands".
"That's crazy" I say.
"Well don't worry, we're just going to leave you here for a bit to relax and monitor your emotion level.
"So how long will I be here for?"
"Up to five days, just to be safe"
"Okay" I say, and she leaves the room. I lie there for a bit, and then decide to go to sleep. It takes me a while but I eventually achieve my goal.
