I wake with sharp pain in my forehead. The room is daear and I have no idea what time it is. I cry out for Lili and she runs through the room a few seconds later.
"What's the matter?" she says, A fluffy white dressing gown trailing behind her and purple hair curlers on her head.
"I have a really bad pain in my head and it-" I say before I cry out in agony.
"I'll get the doctors" she says, rushing back through the door and into the doorway. She comes back quickly, followed by three men and one woman.
They lift me onto a roller and wheel me out of the room. She puts a needle into my arm and injects a blue liquid ."What was that?" I say, my head still throbbing from the pain.
"Pain killers, we're going to take you to Ward Q6. There, you will get an MRI scan and we'll find out what's causing the pain"
"Okay" I say. They wheel me through many different corridors and stop outside a bronze door and one of the men put an iris scanner and the door opens with a mechanical crank. I start to black outt and Lili must notice this because she grabs some nubs attached to an oxygen tank and puts them in my nostrils.
"Don't worry, you'll be alright" Lili says, and moves me onto the MRI scanner. She powers it on and injects me with a green liquid this time and I fall asleep just as the machine begins to circle my head.
*****
I wake up and spot Lili standing over a computer screen and turns around o face me.
"Hey I just woke you to see how you're doing" she say.
"How did you wake me from over there?" I ask.
"I injected you with a new serum that allows me to change your state of concisciousness
"Wow, that's pretty cool"
"Yeah, it's still a working progress though. We're working on one that lets us see your memories and what your thinking"
"That one is kind of creepy"
"Yeah but won't it be useful if we capture one of the enemy?"
"Well... I still think its wrong"
"Anyway... your results show that your pain came from a lack of oxygenation to the brain. So, for the next week you'll be staying in the med wing and just chill for a bit".
"Hhhhh, fine" I say.
"Anyway, this is your oxygen buddy that will be pumping it through your nubs"
"Im going to call it...Philbert!"
"Okay then..." she says. "Get some rest, we're going to be moving you back to the med wing in about two hours".
"Okay" I say, and she injects me with some yellow liquid and I fall asleep.
