I sighed as I pulled up to the Vadállat mansion, taking out my keys before taking off my helmet. I walked up to the giant dark wood doors and knocked loudly, waiting patiently for the door to open, which didn't take long. I saw Ren with her big smile, her emerald eyes glistening as she looked up at me.

"Alex, what are you doing here?"

"Uh, your brother invited me over," I replied. When she gave me a look of confusion, I added, "I know, weird right?"

"Very, but I'm glad you're here! Come on in," she said excitedly as she opened the door wider for me.

I walked in, still not use to the extremeness of their property. It made me feel smaller than I really was, which I did not like too much.

Before I could say anything -not that I was -I was dragged upstairs by Ren. "Come with me real quick, I wanna show you something!"

She giggled to herself as she pulled me along to her room. "Pull any harder, and you'll rip my arm off," I teased lightly.

She giggled again as we got to her door, "Oh shush, now come here."

As she opened the door, I asked, "Do I have a choice?"

"Not really."

I laughed lightly as I walked in her room. Well, when I say room I mean a pastel nightmare. The walls were painted a soft baby pink with mint, pink, and white furniture. The curtains were black out curtains, but had gold fabric attached to it to match the gold accents in her room. Her bed was a queen size that had a mint canopy with white polka dots, although her bed sheets were the only thing that wasn't pastel. Her bed was in fact covered in anime merch, mostly Black Butler with her blanket, pillowcases, and a Sebastian Michaelis stuffie.

"Wow, any brighter and my retinas just might burn out."

"Ha. Ha. Ha. Sit, lemme get it real quick," she replied as she ran over to her lobby sized walk in closet.

I couldn't see what she was doing, but it sounded like she was rummaging through a pile of items. She soon came out holding a white box, sitting it on the bed before opening it excitedly. She then pulled out the fluffiest mess of a dress I have ever seen.

It was a Lolita style dress in a mint to navy fade and white cap sleeves. The bodice was a corsetted number with a pale pink ribbon as the connector, comming to a bow at the waist of the dress. Though it was not my style, I could see it being very cute on her.

"What do you think?!"

"It's cute, defiently your style," I answered honestly.

"You think?" She asked, twirling a bit as she held it close to her. "We're having a party next Friday, this was the dress I picked out for it."

"Well, I think it's perfect for you." I smiled slightly at how happy she was as she looked at her dress in admiration.

"Thanks!" As she put the dress neatly back in the box, she gasped in excitement. "OMG you should come!"

I shifted uncomfortably, "Uh, I don't know. I'm not a party kind of person."

"Oh, please? It'll be so much more fun with you there! It's my parents party, so it's gonna be filled with cranky old people, and I won't have anyone to dance with! Can you please come?"

I sighed in thought, This was a terrible idea. Out loud, I replied, "I'll think about it."

She squeaked almost high enough that only dogs could hear it as she hugged me. "Oh thank you!"

I laughed lightly, "I said I'd think about it, that was not a confirmation."

She shrugged, "Whatever."
