We spent the next three hours trying to find Ren with no success. None of her friends were home, and no one was answering their phones. At this rate, we wouldn't be able to find her before the party, which was in less than two hours.
"I can't fucking believe she left!" Traitor yelled to himself. "I told her specifically not to go to that party, and what does she do? She fucking disobeys me!"
"Traitor, calm down. We'll-"
"We'll what, Alex? Find her before she, a fifteen year old freshman, goes to an all senior house party? I doubt it."
"Well, you said you know where the party's happening. If we can't find her, that we can just go there," I replied calmly, trying to keep him from exploding.
"That's not the point, Alex! I know what people do at those parties, you don't. She is too young to do that kind of stuff."
"Come on, she's a smart girl. She wouldn't do anything that bad."
"Like what? Like seeking out of the house, ditching school, and going to a party where almost everyone is over the age of eighteen? And where they drink as if they're dehydrated as shit and fucks like rabbits? Yeah, and I'm sure peer pressure isn't a thing, too."
He speed up the car, now going 95 in a 35 mph zone, as he screamed. I've never seen him like this. I've never seen anyone like this.
Well, except one...
But he's not like that. He's upset for the safety of his little sister. Though, he was going way over board with his anger, I could see why he was so heated.
"Look, I get that you're pissed, but if you don't calm down, you're going to get us in an accident or something. And I'd rather not have to worry about you getting yourself fucked while worrying about Ren."
He sighed, "You just don't get it. You don't know how it feels for me to have to worry for her dumbass all the time! You don't understand!"
I almost slapped the shit out of him.
"Fuck you! I had my only sibling murdered in front of me, and you have the audacity to say I don't understand? You can go fuck yourself with that bullshit." I crossed my arms and looked out the window, mostly because if I looked at his face it would be punched in.
He took a few deep breaths, hearing the heaviness in his voice as he said, "I'm sorry. I just...she so young and I don't want anything to happen to her."
"I understand that, but you don't have to act like a prick about it. Look, why don't we just head to the party? We can look for Ren when we get there. If we get there soon enough, the chances of something happening to her are slim."
He sighed and nodded. "You're right."
"I know I am. Now, slow down before we get pulled over for you going sixty miles over the speed limit."
He slowed down, but not much. He only went down to 70 mph, but it was better.
God, what would he do when he sees Ren?
----------
An hour and a half after our agreement to go to the party, we had arrived at the house. There were cars parked down the street and in the grass around the house. The music was loud enough to hear from three blocks over, and the lights were bright enough, you could probably spot it on a satellite. People were piled in, it was so packed there were dozens standing outside due to lack of space.
