"Would you be willing to go on a date with me?"I blinked rapidly in confusion, "Wh-what?"
"Will you go out with me?"
I just stared at him for a moment, speechless. I couldn't form words for some reason. Why was I freezing up? Also, why would he ask me out?
Traitor waved a hand in front of my face, making me blink my thoughts clear. "Hello? Earth to Alex."
"Uh sorry, um... I uh," I cleared my throat before continuing, "Yes. I-I'll go out with you. I uh, I- I'd... I'd like that."
He smiled, "Great, how about tomorrow?"
I nodded, "Sure."
"Awesome, see ya then." He gently grabbed my wrist, placing a soft kiss on the back of my hand before leaving with a large smile.
I had to take a moment to breathe before walking in, my face hurting from how much I was smiling.
Well, tomorrow's going to be interesting...

I hummed as I walked to school, yet I dressed slightly nicer since I knew we were probably going to go out right after school. I had my hair in a side braid, my bangs still out to comfort my emo side. And instead of my usual black skinny jeans, I wore dark navy ones, but besides that I looked the same.
I took out my headphones as I went to my locker, putting my unneeded textbooks in it while grabbing my notebook. As I closed my locker, I saw Traitor leaning against the lockers beside me with a smirk.
"Hey sexy lady," he said playfully.
I rolled my eyes dramatically, "Hi there."
"So, you ready?"
I raised a brow, "Ready for what?"
"Our date."
"Aren't we going after school?"
He shrugged, "I thought it'd be more fun if we took the whole day off. You know, just for us."
"I-I don't know Traitor, I'm not into playing hookie."
Right after I spoke, Maria came up to us. "Hi Traitor, whatchya doin'?"
He scoffed, "None of your business."
She glanced at me with a glare. "When did you start wearing color, whore?"
"When I decided not to give a fuck about your opinion, cunt." I replied snarkily, crossing my arms.
I could practically feel the daggers coming out of her eyes. "How dare you speak to me like that?!"
I placed a hand over my heart, replying sarcastically, "Oh, I'm sorry. Did I offend you? Did I make you feel like the little shit that you are? Good, now maybe you'll be able to understand how it feels to not be the 'Queen Bee' you believe you are."
Traitor belted out a laugh, one loud enough to bounce off the walls.
Maria scoffed as she replied, "Whatever, bitch." She flipped her hair before walking away, clearly distraught about what I said.
I couldn't help but laugh lightly with Traitor. "That was hilarious!" He yelled through his laughter.
"Yeah," I replied before adding, "I think I need a break from these assholes."
He raised a brow, "Really?"
I nodded, reopening my locker and throwing my school shit back in there. I slammed the door as I said, "Let's go."
