It had been three days since Alex went into a coma. Her body was failing quickly, but no one could figure out why or how. All of her organs were functioning perfectly, and she had no other medical issues. It was like her body was just giving up.I never left her side, the longest I would leave would be to go to the bathroom, but even then I wasn't gone too long. My mom brought me food, but I hardly ate it. All of my attention was on Alex, I didn't have time for distractions.
Doctor Rex, along with his team, had been trying to find out what's wrong with her, and how to wake her up. I wanted more than anything to wake her up, but the fact that I couldn't do anything was killing me.
I gently held her hand in mine as I sat beside her bed. I sighed as I looked at her sleeping face. Though she was normally quite pale, her color was now sickly, with her dark locks sticking to her face from the cold sweats she's been getting. Her arms were still bruised from thrashing around the other night, looking intense against her pale skin.
I heard a gentle knock on the door before it opened. Ren popped her head in, a sweet smile placed on her face as she came in.
"Hey," she said softly, "any progress?"
I shook my head. "No, nothing's changed."
She pulled up a chair next to me, placing her hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry, bro. I know how much you care about her."
I nodded my head, giving her a weak smile. "Thank you, sis."
"I brought you some food. Mom is with dad working on some pack stuff. Please eat it, I know you haven't been eating well. Alex would kill you if she knew how little you've been eating, especially since you're so hard on her about it."
I chuckled lightly. "Yeah, she would. Thanks again."
She smiled as I took the bag. "No prob, bro. Now eat, and get some rest. You look terrible."
I rolled my eyes at her as she giggled, leaving the room. I sighed as I made myself grab the sandwich out of the bag and ate it. Ren was right, I needed to stay strong, for Alex.
For Alex...

Alex's POV
I was running, screaming, crying, knowing it was near. Danger was coming, the evil I've been running from my whole life was finally catching up.
And I was screwed.
I felt a sharp pain in my heart, letting out a scream that shook my eardrums. I moved quickly, feeling my body slamming into something- the floor. I scrambled away from my spot trying to get away. Get away from it all.
That's when I felt it, the gentle touch on my face. I shook my head, seeing the darkness turn into light in front of my eyes. I gasped when I looked around, seeing myself in the hospital. The soft white walls, and white tiles, and white bed greeting my eyes.
And that's when I heard it, the voice. The soothing voice that calmed me. I looked up to meet Traitor's eyes, and I instantly broke down. I grabbed his shoulders desperately, burying my face in his chest as I cried.
He held me close, his words- though I couldn't hear what he was saying over my sobs- soothed me. We were like that for a while, him holding me as my fear poured out of me.
When my sobs finally ended, I rose my head up to meet his eyes again. He gently held my cheek as I caught my breath. He sighed a breath of relief as he looked at me.
"Alex, what happened?! Are you alright?" He asked when I was finally calm.
I shook my head no. "H-he knows I'm a-alive. He kn-knows where I-I am..."
