Chapter 57

"We kept your room exactly the way it was before you moved out" my mum said opening the door to my old room, it looked the same except now with less objects and pictures, my posters still remained in the same place, my fairy lights still on top of the bed, my books still on the shelf and a few of my teddy bears on the window bench "Chloe I don't know what they done to you but I promise you I will kill them myself, we have a lot of questions but for now let's just leave this moment as it is okay?"

I nodded "please don't kill them though mum, Jack's out of the way"

"And he can rot in he-"

"Mum" I laughed, I walked to my wardrobe and opened it revealing a few of the clothes I left here "I'm gonna take a shower if that's okay?" Even though I showered earlier I still wanted to take another one, I wanted to change these band aids. It felt weird being here, it's not really my home anymore which I'm wondering if my parents are gonna allow me to still live with the guys, I would understand if they don't.

"Honey of course it's okay" she smiled "while you're at it I'm gonna make some dinner"

"Mum, could you call Kian please I need to speak with him before" she nodded and left, soon after Kian came upstairs

"Hey everything alright?" He asked taking a seat on the couch next to the bed
Slowly, I walked up to him and stood in between his legs as he placed his hands on my hips. I ran my hands through his dark hair "thank you for everything Kian" I whispered

"God I missed you" he sat me on his lap, we both remained quiet just enjoying the moment, he leaned his forehead on mine and smiled "how's the boo boo?" he chuckled

"It hurts, I wanna change the band aids" He brushed his hands on my belly "I'm gonna take another shower then I'll change it"
After a really painful shower I found Kian's white converse shirt, there wasn't any leggings here so I guess I had to wear shorts which wasn't what I wanted considering they're all gonna see the bruises on my legs, but I found knee high socks, it covered a bit but not enough. Kian came in with a first aid kit he found, I lifted my shirt up making sure not to reveal my bra

"You still have your belly ring?" He asked, I looked down and smiled. He stared into my pale stomach with a few other scars "Chloe..."

"It's in the past" I reminded him, before any of us said anything Emily walked in

"Hey what's going on?" She asked, I told her we were just going to put healing cream on and she said she will do it and Kian can hold my hand, she was gonna put a healing cream which burns like mad "ready?"

"Just squeeze my hands okay?" Kian smiled

"Okay" I breathed out, Emily spread the cream on my wound, I bit my lip tightening Kian's hand as he rubbed my head with his available hand

"It's okay brea-"

"Agh" I yelled out in pain

"It's done it's done" Emily finally said.
"You're good" Kian finally said as I closed my eyes. Before closing my eyes I saw Kian look at the bruises on my legs but I gave him a small smile telling me him I'm okay

"I missed your cooking" I told my mum as we all finished a plate of spaghetti bolognese, I stood up to wash my plate but she stopped me

"I'll do it, you kids go watch a movie to rest" we did as she said, we all went to the living room and put a movie they said was new but obviously I wouldn't know what it's called. I rested my head on Kian's lap as he rubbed my hair, Lillie was already asleep in the sofa and the others were really into the movie.
A few minutes later the house phone rang and I immediately stood up, what if it's Jac- never mind or maybe Acacia and Joanna found out I'm home and they're coming

"Chlo, don't worry" Sam held my hand "you're home"

My mum answered the phone "oh hey" I heard her say, it was probably a friend "are you guys alright? We'll be there as soon as possible" she walked back in the living room looking rather shocked

"Who was it?" Sam asked

"Chris' mum, guys Chris has been shot. He's in the hospital in New York with Connor?" She told us, we all looked at each other not knowing what to say "Lucas, she asked us to go there"

"Well we can't leave the kids alone, so I'll go" he said leaving the living room to put a jacket on as my mum went behind

"Why was Connor with him?" Sam asked no one in particular then walked after my parents

"Message Connor!" Jc demanded Emily

"What I'm I gonna do if Chris says he was helping me out!?" I snapped "or when the police asks how you guys found me" I didn't even think about what I'm going to tell the police let alone my parents

"We'll tell them..." Ricky explained "... You found our number and called us for help"

We all nodded as they came down "honey I'm sorry to leave like thi-"

"No dad it's fine make sure you tell us everything ok?" I interrupted him, he smiled and gave me a really long hug "be careful dad"
