-Chapter 25: The Overlord and His Followers

"What in the world are those ugly things?" Kurena asks, obviously staring ahead at the two ugly monsters that Kuroto King guy made. KuroKing is such a stupid name, so I refuse to call him it. He can sue me if he wants to. 

They kind of look like giant walking blobs of dark colors. They remind me of a zombie monster kind of thing. I doubt they're zombies though. They're just plain ugly.

"They're attacking innocent people," Sougo says, ignoring Kurena's question. 

"He's become an evil overlord," Geiz states, saying the obvious. 

Wow, I wouldn't have guessed that Kuroto the King is evil. What gave him the hint? The fact that the man changed them into monsters or the fact he wants his own country and is forcing people to accept it?

"This isn't the time or place for a debate," Tsukuyomi tells Geiz and Sougo. "You need to save them or else something bad will happen." 

"Yeah, something bad could happen so you two can get to work while we watch and be lazy." Of course Kurena is going to be lazy right now! She just got here by dragging us with her. She's one fast mover! No wonder she's a ninja!

Geiz and Sougo move forward, pulling out their transformation stuff and I look at Kurena. She looks at me and smiles, nodding her head. She's positive about this for some reason. Is it because she knows that everything is going to be alright or what? How much of the past does she know from me and Sougo in the future? 

I look back at Geiz and Sougo as they finish their transformation. Okay, Geiz is using Wizard's power and Sougo is using Fourze's power. I think I have those names correct. I have been trying to figure out who is what when it comes to this so I can tell them apart easily when they don't say anything at all.

Sougo swings at the monster and it dodges, making it look easy to do so. Why isn't he doing anything yet? Sougo is so much more powerful than those loser monsters! Not that the people who became them are losers, they're good people I'm sure, but they're lame compared to Sougo.

"They're like Zombies or something," Kurena comments. "Wow...is that Kuroto's power right now with that thing he used?" 

"They're immortal," a voice says and I look behind me, looking over my shoulders, as Venus approaches us. 

"Immortal?" I look back as Sougo launches one of them up. "What?"

"They have to use their Finish Time attacks to stop them," Venus answers, giving us more information. "And they're about to figure that out." 

Sougo shoots at his opponent and it blows up, turning into coins and the person they were before it. I think those are coins. Should I collect them or leave them to vanish into nothingness? 

"How do you know about that?" Kurena asks Venus and I turn, staring at her as she rushes up to Venus and grabbing her shirt.

"Because I know things," she responds. "I am not stupid. We're quite similar don't you think, Marina?" Venus looks at me, smiling a bit. She thinks she's similar to Kurena? 

"Lay off!" 

Kurena releases Venus and turns, eyes heading to the commotion. I turn too and I stare as Geiz moves away from Sougo. What did Sougo say to piss him off? I know that he said something to him. I know he didn't intend to piss him off, but that is what he managed to do.

"What is with all this commotion? It seems like they are those who would oppose my dominion," Kuroto's voice says, coming out loud. Is he seriously going to approach us right now?
