-Chapter 50: Two-Faced

"Aren't you going to ask him about his dreams?" Kurena asks me. "You know that they're dangerous for him to have right?"

"I would, but it isn't my business to get involved in. Kurena, why did you defend your father then? Was it because your existence is getting threatened?" I want to know what is going on inside her heart right now. 

"He's my father and it doesn't matter about our bad blood. While I want things to change, I wouldn't change having a life any longer," she tells me, answering my question. "I just want to make him a good person in the future is all."

"I see. Well, let's return to the company out there. I just wanted to ask you that for a moment." 

Not too long ago, Geiz and Tsukuyomi showed up here to talk to Sougo. They brought White Woz and Ora with them. I'm sure Shinji is having a good time right now being around her and tormenting her endlessly. 

"Right then."

We turn, entering back into the room everyone is in, and they look at us curiously. We weren't being loud enough for them to hear our conversation. I don't want them to know what is going on with my family and Sougo's uncle is near. I do not need him figuring out what he doesn't need to know. 

"Can we get started now?" White Woz asks, removing his eyes from me and staring at Sougo. "Sir, your woman is quite scary. I shall call her your wife."

"We're not married," I state. "Not yet." We might as well be though. 

"Maybe you did something to upset her. You shouldn't mess with a pregnant woman," Sougo responds. "But yeah, let's get started with what you need to say."

"Ora came to me not too long ago with tears in her eyes and she started talking to me about Heure," White Woz tells us, probably being dramatic. 

"I didn't have tears in my eyes," Ora says, saying the truth. She turns her head a bit and stares at Shinji. "I had no tears."

"I believe you," Shinji responds, nodding his head. Of course he's right next to her and is probably ready to do whatever she orders him to do. "Whitey Wozy, get to the point." 

White Woz bites his lip and looks away, looking slightly annoyed. "Since she finds it hard to speak about right now, I'll say it for her. She wants us to help save Heure," Woz tells us as he gets closer to Ora.

Shinji gets between them. "If she needs help, I'll gladly help her out." 

Ora looks away, her eyes looking down. "Shinji, he's not my type and you know that. Anyways, Swartz won't stop at using Heure to make a watch. He'll...he'll turn Heure into his puppet and that is why I came to get help." So, she expects us to trust her and help her out all of a sudden?

"You want us to help you when you're one of our biggest enemies?" Geiz asks. 

"I think we should help. I would love to assist her in getting her buddy back," Shinji says, eyes turning darker as he stares at White Woz. He really dislikes him, but I am sure he sees him as competition.

"I think this could work out," Sougo says softly. He's still in his study gear, which looks so cute on him. 

"Hey, Sougo..." Tsukuyomi is obviously against the idea, so why is she working with White Woz?

"I want to beat that Another Rider," Sougo tells her, staring at her softly. She may have betrayed us, but he is still being nice to her. "If we all work together, it'll be possible."

"I guess we should do it then," I say. "I'm against helping our enemies, but sometimes you have to team up with them to further your goals. Sougo, I am putting my trust in you here. Shinji, you can go out and do something exciting if you want. Kurena, you too."
