-Chapter 38: The Other Side
I step into the dining room and stare at Sougo as he stares at the wall. Did something happen to him? I guess something had to happen to him for him to be like this.
"Is something wrong?" I ask him curiously and he looks up, staring me in the eyes. "Sougo, you can be honest with me. I won't judge you."
He shakes his head. "It is nothing serious at all. I just thought about something is all. I had a dream about the future."
"Ah, I see." So, it isn't about Oma Zi-O then? Good.
"Marina, you're here now?" Junichiro asks and I look over at the kitchen entrance. "I didn't expect you to come over today since Kurena told me that you would be busy. I was worried that we wouldn't get to spend part of the New Year with you."
"Are you making us breakfast?" I ask. "And of course I'm here. I want to be with the man I love the most in the world." I look at Sougo and grin. "I will always want to spend time with him. I adore him."
"I am in the middle of doing so. You can join us like you normally do then," he tells me. "Sougo, be good to her." He turns away and heads into the kitchen, going back to his breakfast making ways.
"Good morning, Marina," Tsukuyomi says and I turn, my eyes landing on her and Geiz. They're up pretty early together, but I guess there is a schedule here for food and all. "I see that you're doing well. Any morning sickness?"
"No, none. I have an appointment a few days to check on my health, but it is only for checking it out. It has nothing to do with my current state." I don't want anyone freaking out over me. "Shall we sit?"
"Yeah, we should."
I turn and sit down, placing my butt on my chair that I usually sit in. Geiz pops down next to me and I look at him as he stares at Sougo. He is really keeping his eyes on him right now. I guess he is worried about Sougo.
"And here is the food," Junichiro says, placing down some stuff. "I have more in the kitchen, but take those for now. I was in the middle of getting it all ready when Marina showed up. She's always a wonderful surprise to have."
"How wonderful," Geiz says, sounding less than thrilled. He really hates the fact I got pregnant, huh? It was a total accident unless you're Shinji. To Shinji, this was on purpose and all his planning to make sure he is going to be had.
"I'll be right back." Junichiro heads back to the kitchen.
"I had an odd dream last night. I met some guy with Kamen Rider powers in the year two-thousand and twenty-two," Sougo says, admitting to his odd dream. "I wasn't going to speak about it, but it was so realistic and real to me."
"So, you met another Kamen Rider? From the future?" Tsukuyomi asks.
"It was a dream only," Sougo states.
"Oh, is it only that?" She doesn't seemed so convinced about it. "That isn't a good way to start the year. You should start it peacefully."
"It is fine that I dreamed about it. I mean, you two know a lot of riders that I don't know about, right? Of course, Marina has no clue about them either," Sougo says.
"I hate to break it to you, but none of them exist," Geiz states. "Not too long from now, it'll be the day Oma rises. The day of Oma is when they all get erased out of history."
Junichiro moves out of the kitchen and heads out to where the customers go. Sougo stands up and I get up too, following him out of the dining area. I wonder if someone is here to visit. It seems like someone is. I think I hear some sort of annoying noise.
