Katniss POV-

I see a girl.

She is actually a woman.

A young, simple looking woman.

Beautiful.

Her hair is in brown waves that fall past her shoulders and her makeup light, natural.

She is wearing a dress.

A wedding dress actually and the dress is perfect.

It's simple.

It has a layer of tule over lace that sparkles when the lights hit it just right.

The neckline is the shape of a 'V' and it's got the hint of a train.

Not too long but just enough.

I look radiant.

"Oh my." I say, covering my mouth with my hand.

"It brings out the beauty you choose to ignore." Cinna says knowingly.

"What?" I ask him softly.

"You never saw how truly stunning you are until now, did you?"

I shake my head, he's right.

Until I put this dress on, I have never seen what everyone else tells me they see.

"Let me guess, your fiancé has told you billions of times but deep down, you never believed him, did you?"

I turn to look at him with tears forming in my eyes.

It is so true.

Everything he just said.

I shake my head and a tear involuntarily falls down my cheek.

"Katniss, you are stunning. This dress just merely enhances your confidence, not beauty." He says kindly.

"I feel so good in this dress, Cinna. Thank you."

He takes my hands into his, "I knew one day a girl would come along and that dress would be everything she needed."

"It's everything I wanted and more." I admit to him.

I can't stop smiling and crying.

"Would you like to show your friend?"

I totally forgot about Glimmer

"Absolutely, I'm sorry." I say apologetically.

He nods, "Let's go." He says and holds open the curtain for me.

I walk out with the little train flowing behind me and find Glimmer sitting there, waiting all prim and proper and patient.

"Kat!" She squeals and quickly comes to her feet.

I smile and walk up to her, "This is it." I tell her.

"You look perfect. Peeta's gonna freak out when he sees you in this." Glimmer says confidently.

I roll my eyes, "I freaked out when I saw myself so I hope so." I laugh.

"He will." Cinna and Glimmer say in unison.

I feel so giddy that it's hard to even get myself out of the dress and when I take it off, I immediately feel sad.

The dress has me so eager and confident that if Peeta were in town, I wouldn't mind marrying him today, no waiting around.

I set up an appointment for March so that there will be enough time for last minute adjustments on my dress.

"Thank you so so much, Cinna."
