Peridot's POV

I was sat in my office trying to get some work done but I couldn't get my eyes off of Lapis, I bought her a sketch pad, pencils and water colours. She said they were her favorite so I imdetly bought some. Everytime I would write a sentence I would look over at her, she would have her tongue sticking as she sketched something that I couldn't see since she was facing my way. "Why are you looking at me every five seconds? " she asked looking up at me. I chuckled and looked over at her again. "You just look beautiful. " Lapis blushed bright red, and looked away from me, "what were you drawing Lapis? " I asked as she put her sketch book down on the table. "Nothing!... I mean nothing of any importance just some rough sketches. " I nodded my head and planned out the perfect way to see them. I stood up from my desk and walked over to the shelf by the sofa and pretended to grab something but instead I quickly ran towards the table, picked up the book and sat back down at my desk.

I look down at the sketches of me as Lapis stood infront of my desk in shame. "I'm sorry I couldn't help it. " she said as she played with her fingers. "Lapis you have nothing to be sorry for, these are beautiful, come sit here. " I said before patting my lap. Lapis sat down after a little hesitation. I placed her book down and held her close. "You a brilliant artist. " I breathed on her neck which made her giggle, oh how I love her giggle. "You really think so? " she asked playing with my fingers. "Yes I do. " I answered placing my face into her neck.

The door then flung open and my sister stood their a little mad, "Peridot its work time not play time, so can you stop running around up here, I'm trying to entertain people and they thought I had kids upstairs. " Lapis laughed into my chest and I answered "I'm sorry Squar, we were just having a little fun, Lapis why don't you go with Squari and I'll be down in a minute. " Lapis shook her head and held onto me, "please don't make me go with her? " I rubbed Lapis' back "don't worry she won't make you do anything, just stay by here and put on your act, okay? " Lapis nodded her head before kissing my cheek and leaving with my sister, I can't believe it, she kissed my cheek. I came out of my daze so that I could finish what I was working on and then went down stairs.

The first thing I saw was Lapis on Jasper's lap. Something boiled within me, I didn't know what other was but I knew that I had to get Jasper away from Lapis. "Peridot come sit. " Jasper said looking back at me, I nodded my head and joined her on the sofa. I looked over at Lapis and realized that she wasn't holding on to Jasper like she does with me, with me it was like she never wanted to let go, but with Jasper she seems very lose and unwilling. "Lapis tell us, what contribution will you make to our gang? " Oynx asked looking over at Lapis. "I have connections with a police department that say in writing that they will over look any of mine or Peridot's gang's crimes. As long as we give detail on other gangs." Oynx nodded his head impressed by Lapis, but I was still a little mad that she wasn't sat on my lap. I grabbed a drink from Holy Blue's tray before he offered other people their drinks and then left. "So Lapis, what are your plans for tonight?" Jasper asked her in a semi sexual voice which I don't think anyone else heard. "I haven't planned anything for a while Jasper, why?" Jasper smirked and put of the corner of my eye I could see Jasper's hand running up Lapis' thigh, I watched as she tried to get out of the situation herself, "I'm sorry Jasper, I don't feel like doing any of that tonight." But she failed because Jasper decided to keep pushing, "come on Lapis, just one night?" Jasper's finger made it's way under Lapis' skirt but before anything else happened,

My old friend Bismuth grabbed Lapis' arm and dragged her out of Jasper's lap and gave her a hug. "So you must be the woman, Peridot was telling me about!" I blew out a breath before Jasper stormed off, Lapis hugged Bismuth back as probably away of saying thankyou for getting her out of that situation. "Hi, I'm Lapis."she said as my oldest friend put Lapis back down on the sofa. "The name's Bismuth. " Bismuth sat on the seat where Jasper was sitting before meaning that Lapis had to move closer to me so she wouldn't be sat on by her. I pulled my arm around Lapis and whispered "are you okay now? " Lapis nodded her head and whispered back a quick yes. After a while of talking two girls came in, wearing skippy underwear, they started dancing provocatively and I watched how all of the men, along with my drunk sister, in the room were watching with lust in there eyes, where as Lapis was watching in disgusted and Bismuth, well she seemed to be inactivated by one of them in particular, I think her name was Pearl she was the girl who was dancing with Lapis before I took her away.

My sister then stood up, a little wobbley but she managed "okay everyone who wants to by the one on the left? " Bismuth's eyes lit up however Lapis had something different to say, "why would sell these girls?, who knows what will happen to them! " I sat Lapis down quickly before she could say anything else and pulled her into me before nodding at Bismuth, "I'll take them both for £1000"she said before the others could speak, "done! " my sister said before taking the money from Bismuth and telling Holy Blue to place them in Bismuth's car. Bismuth then whispered to Lapis as I still held her in my chest,"Don't worry I'll take care of them. "Lapis sobbed into my chest a little before I picked her up and dismissed everyone.

I brought Lapis upstairs and sat her on my desk. "Stay here I'm going to talk some sense into my sister. " Lapis nodded and I left to deal with my sister. "Squar! What are you thinking selling off girls like that? they came to you for jobs as dancers, not as sex slaves, they are trying earn an honest living! " Squaridot just shrugged her shoulders in her drunken straight and smiled, "Sis I do what I do for the gang. " I shook my head and pushed her into her room. "Go to bed and sleep of your drunkenness. " I left my sister's room and headed back towards Lapis. But when I got to the door my heart fell to the fall and smashed. "Mum, Dad if you can hear me, please... take me away from this terrible place. I thought I could do it, but I can't. " I decided to go towards her room and grab her sketch pad for her so she wouldn't suspect that I was listening. I can't believe it though she wants to leave... I guess I should have seen it coming, I'll buy her a nice flat somewhere in the city.

I guess no one can love a Gang Boss like me.
