Peridot's POV

I woke with Lapis in my arms again but this time Pumpkin was also there asleep in Lapis' arms. She seems to of taken a liking to Lapis which made me feel a little jealous on both sides but I know that Lapis needs Pumpkin right now, animals are the best form of therapy. Speaking of which Lapis has her first session with my personal therapist today. So I looked around the room and thought that to take her mind off of it until she gets here I will help Lapis start to decorate her... well at this point our room.

Lapis started to stir so I rubbed her back and placed my head on her's breathing in her sent. "Good morning..." I smiled down at the drowsy girl, "good morning, how long have you been up?" I started to trace her tattoo as I spoke, "long enough for me to already know what we are going to do today." Lapis sat up a little but didnt move away from my touch, "oh really?" Lapis then pulled Pumpkin into the space between us and started to play with her a little. "I want to help you decorate your room." Lapis smiled at me. "Yeah I'd like that, I definitely want a cat tree." That made me laugh. First you steal my heart then you steal my cat. I knew that was too corny so I didn't say it, and it would of came out of know where. I wasn't ready to tell her.

We looked through a room design booklet to get some ideas. We final decided on an ocean theme because Lapis loves the ocean, I bought some paint and started on the walls whilst I sent Holly Blue to buy some ocean themed decor. Lapis painted with me until we were almost done when I got paint on her arm. "Peri! " she yelled which was cute because she used my nickname. "Hey it will wash off. " I laugh but Lapis doesn't find it funny until she gets me back. After that we keep on attacking eachother until Holy Blue comes through the door. "Ms Green I have everything you asked for. " I took Lapis' brush and said to Holy, "thankyou can you have it all placed in the hallway whilst we finish this wall and get cleaned up?" Holy nodded her head and left the room, Lapis and I finished the wall and took all of the paint equipment into the hallway, I walked towards the bathroom already taking off my paint covered shirt when I heard a squeak come from Lapis, I turned around to see her blushing which made my heart go a mile a minute.

I walked into the bathroom with Lapis following behind and started the hot tap on the sink, I watch Lapis lift up her shirt and throw it into the basket, I then threw mine in and stopped the water flowing into the basen. "Here, " I said whilst handing Lapis a wet cloth, she took it and started to clean herself off. I cleaned my arms whilst looking in the mirror at Lapis. "Don't watch me! " Lapis said after covering herself which made me chuckle, I remembered that I locked the door so that no one would see her half naked, and walked up to her, I pulled her hands away from her body and kissed them both each once and then I said into her eyes "you are beautiful Lapis, don't hide from me, please? " Lapis blushed beet red but then hugged me whispering a small "thankyou. " before letting go and then she placed her cloth on my chest, I looked down at her a blushed a little as she wiped a spec of blue paint off of me, "you missed a spot, " Lapis stuttered out, I smiled and when she pulled away I turned her around and sat on the toilet with her on my lap, "I got some on your back. " I said before I started to clean off her back, "I love your wings. " I said simply as I started to trace them, it was now one my favorite habits, "I noticed," she said which made me laugh. "How come you don't have tattoos? Your a gang leader its kinda in the role isn't? " I chuckled and lent of Lapis' shoulder. "I don't know. " Lapis turned around to look at me, "what do you mean? " I breathed out, "when your in a gang, tattoos have meaning, like a tear under your eye means you've killed someone, or a skull means your a high ranker, and I was supposed to get that one, when I became leader but I guess I just wasn't in the right mindset after my father died. " Lapis turned to hug me properly and play with my hair, "how did it happen? " I laughed a little thinking back. "The other gang found out that I was the heir and thought that if because I was only 14 at the time that they could kill me easily, but my father saved me and died in the process. It's all my fault really . " I said that last part laugh-crying, Lapis grabbed me and cuddled into me "its not your fault. Now come on. " Lapis then pulled me up and brought me to her room so we could start to decorate her room.

After a few hours of decorating my therapist came in and sat on the bed when I directed her to, "Lapis, this is Dr Rhodonite she is the family therapist. " Lapis sat next to Rhodnite and shook her hand, "it's nice to meet you. " she said and I left the room to give them privacy and went to work.
